The Stables

It was different and away from the hords of Southwold. It was in a great location but the window, which you had to lay on the floor to look out of, did not really reflect this. The room was big and roomy but hot and dark. I must admit I was disappointed. However, the service was good, if lacking in intimacy.

Had a fantastic one night stay at The Stables. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and nice to stay somewhere with a bit of history. The room was a fantastic size with a table and sofa area. Lovely Veggie breakfast cooked to order at the time requested. Can’t wait to return in the near future. Thank you!

Definitely an amazing stay. Never had such a spacious room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast and excellent friendly service .

Only a night stopover on this occasion but intend to go back for leisure. Quirky rural retreat run by a lovely couple who have done their best to think of everything. Massive room, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. The only real improvement would be a dedicated shower but I had time for a bath.

Really lovely setting and really friendly hosts, the breakfast was lovely. We went to the local pub as suggested and that was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Stables.

We had use of the hotel all to ourselves, and fantastic hosts. The room was a great, bed really comfortable and cooked breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day. Highly recommended
