Broadlea of Robgill Country Cottage bed and breakfast

Little luxury items in room...kettle , iron,hair straighteners/hairdryer which I always need was helpful...bathroom robe ,soap etc..all made stay great...lovely warm toilet in mornings and fresh towels when requested...Amanda very helpful and friendly

Situation of guest house very rural however..small road out of Farm takes you out onto bypass to Carlisle and surrounding areas very quickly ....

Ruime locatie en een eigenaar die de tijd nam om alles uit te leggen.

Smal 2 persoons bed. Geen fatsoenlijk ontbijt. Hiervoor waren we gewaarschuwd door de eigenaar (ivm omstandigheden), maar het was nog minder dan verwacht.

Hot water took a long time to reach the shower head and the shower itself was overly complicated

The room had the facilities I needed for a one night stay and was in a great location and very quiet

The breakfast had already been left in the room in a basket on top of a cool block. As it was 25 degrees, this did not keep the yoghurt cool from when it was left until the next morning. There were a lot of sugary items in the basket I could not have as I am diabetic, although the owners are not to blame for that as they did not know. It’s a long time since I had stayed in a b&b and had wrongly) assumed there would be toast, eggs or other more traditional breakfast items, but that was my preconception and not implied in the listing. The mattress was.really a lot thinner than I would have liked.

Nice farmhouse cottage

Very clean and well -appointed ensuite room in a block of 3 at a farm location. Good WiFi and TV. Good emailed instructions for access. Excellent value for money and a nice alternative to our usual motorway service station hotel overnight stays between Aberdeen and Lancashire.

Shower room was a bit tight for space. Nearby farm/guard dogs were barking throughout the night.
