The Bryn B&B

The Bryn is ideally located in a residential area a short walk from the town centre (no walking through industrial estates to get back after a night out!) but just a short drive from the A5. Parking is easy & free, or if you're not driving then Val is very helpful with public transport & taxi details. Val was also very quick to reply to my initial query. As the point of my trip was to go to a gig with friends, I wanted to check the curfew before booking & was pleased to find that guests at the Bryn have their own keys so can come & go as they please - no Cinderella moments dashing to be home by midnight! The Bryn is a beautiful home with a gorgeous garden, which guests can use. Given its convenient location, it is surprisingly peaceful. The room itself was very comfortable & instantly felt like a home from home. Although not ensuite, the bathroom was private & adjacent to my room, with both a bath & shower. I was wary at first, but would be more than happy with the same room again next time. I'm not usually a breakfast person, but the offering at the Bryn was amazing! A variety of fresh fruit (I had melon, strawberries & blueberries), choice of cereal, fresh juice, tea/coffee, full English breakfast (I limited myself to a bacon sandwich), Chris' home-baked bread & Val's fresh blueberry drop scones were all to die for! The Bryn is great value for money & Val & Chris have truly mastered the art of little details - I will be back!

Very accommodating, welcoming hosts and place. Stayed for over a week. Felt like I stayed a relative's home. Comfortable bed. Wifi was consistant. Breakfast very good, made to order. A five minute walk to the town centre via a footpath. I would definitely recommend this lovey place.

Great location, quiet safe cul de sac near town centre so safe parking over night . Chris, Val and Bailey were very friendly and welcoming Breakfast was lovely too A truly warm welcome into a family home

Homely family environment, the property situated in a quite locality. Suited to our needs.

I’m gluten and lactose free and Val went out of her way to make sure I had a good breakfast still! Comfortable room and nice and quiet. I did expect the car parking to be on the drive as shown in the photos rather than on the street, but it was a quiet street so not a problem.

Everything is just right! I went to Oswestry for a short course training and hardly found accommodation around RJAH. This place might not be in a "super" central but can't say it's remote, less than 10 min walk from the main bus station once the host told you the shortcut. The hosts are super friendly and this including their super cute dog! Don't worry, even he has long hair but after a 15-min play with him I got not a single hair on my clothes, might not be an issue for an allergy sufferer. One last thing, the hosts make some part of their food themselves e.g. bread, jams, scones..etc. They are all in good quality and flavour! This can't be found in hotels. And considering the price and this level of experience, there's no brainer!
