"Enjoyable stay overall."

A lovely place to stay with free parking and an onsite Indian restaurant. Staff friendly.

Check in st the bar which was crowded.

"very nice"

We arrived in the in time to eat the bar man was great and went through the menu with us the food was very good .

the room was like a oven if you know we are having heat like that the curtins should be left closed

"Too many steps for elderly."

Room clean and cosy. Very friendly lady with dark hair cleaning rooms. Blonde lady a crank. Manager and his assistant were lovely guys and so friendly.

Two flights of stairs, if I had known I would not have booked for my 81 year old mother with bad legs.

"Cheap and Cheerful 😊"

Clean cosy rooms. Manager was very friendly and he's assistant lovely guys, lifted our heavy suitcases up and down two flights of narrow stairs as no lift. Lady cleaning rooms with ponytail dark hair was friendly and a delight. Blonde lady not so much. Room was cosy and clean well equipped. Atmosphere was lovely there was a wedding on same weekend and it was lovely to see. Bar very cosy and inviting. Outside areas nice too especially at the back on the sunshine.

There was two housekeeping staff upstairs one was so lovely but the other lady with blonde hair was quite angry in the hallway upstairs giving out about paying guests. Unfortunately breakfast not good, swimming in grease, one bacon was raw other one was burnt, eggs and sausages could not eat. Beans, toast, cereal okay. No milk jugs or mugs or side plates, boil kettle for tea in tiny tea cup no saucers, cheap and cheerful could do with an upgrade.

"Won’t be back"

Location and our room beds were comfy and clean

Restaurant floor and table was sticky….some of our food was inedible. Our bathroom had black looked like animal hair on toilet and sink didn’t even shower in the morning

Clean room. Good shower. Nice surroundings.

Bed not comfortable. Limited menu for non spicy food. Breakfast was overcooked. No real coffee.

I had the full British breakfast and it was very nice, eggs need a little bit more attention but not a major issue.

Shower tiles could be a bit cleaner

"Four of us on bicycles , and he stored them safely for us. Indian food in the pub was good. Very friendly couldn’t do e"

Bedrooms were fine and away from the road , so quiet. Pub downstairs , so convenient.

Could have done with some real ales .
