"Stunning views"

10.0

We arrived in Selcuk late in the evening by train and had no clue on how to get to the hotel . We were guided to another hotel as others in the village could not speak English .Recep the owner arrived in a few minutes and picked us up and informed us that the hotel offered a free pick up and drop service to the village . Recep has lived in Canada and speaks perfect English .The hotel is atop a hill and has the most stunning view .we were captivated . Although there is no dinner service the owner helped us get some food although it was quite late . The rooms were spotless and very comfortable . Recep also gave us good advise on how to see the sights . All in all a very lovely experience

"a little far but a great stay"

8.0

Overall a great stay. Beautiful view of selcuk...despite being a bit far from the city. you need to either take the cab or the free shuttle (once every two hours and usually not so on time). The town is about a 5 min drive away, so it wasnt terrible. Rooms and breakfast are nice, the resident puppy (sunny) was the cutest thing ever! The staff was extremely helpful as well.

"Diamond in the rough"

10.0

What a wonderful place and lovely hosts! We booked one night and decided to stay several more. The price was great, the beds very comfy and the view is spectacular! There are two sites close to each other. Since it was winter and they use the newer side this time of year, they upgraded us to a family room which was amazing! We thought this was a great location, especially if you've rented a car, to get to all the sites around Selcuk: easy drive to Kusadasi, Duvaltar Thermal baths, Ephesus and Pamukkale. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

"Great hotel but tricky location"

8.0

First of all, the hotel manager is really nice, the room is clean and the view from the balcony is awesome. That being said, the hotel location is confusing to the local bus drivers. They have Villa Dreams I and II which are two separated locations and not all local drivers know that. My local tour guide was not able to find the location and drop me off/pick me up. There is no close-by restaurant or convenient stores and if you need anything you will have to walk to the downtown center. This is a problem if you arrive late at night for the first day.

"Excellent"

8.0

Keep in mind there are two locations. We didn't realize that until we arrived, and some of the tour guides when they dropped us off were also under the impression that we were at the other location a few blocks away. Both are on the hill and out of the city smog, which was fantastic, but be prepared to walk up steep alleys.

"Great views, friendly staff"

10.0

We were there for 4 nights. Lovely place to come back to after exploring the region. Barbara, a transplanted German, is in charge of food and drink. Her love for the area is contagious, and she generously shares her ideas of how to make the most of your visit. One of the owners, whose name sounds like "vase", was equally as charming. Breakfast is served on the terrace by the pool with beautiful views to St. John's Basilica , as is dinner. You can place an order for dinner earlier in the day to be cooked there, or they wlll be happy to order out for you.

"Nice hotel in Selcuk"

8.0

This hotel is up on a big hill, so it has a great view, but it is not close to any restaurants. Apparently there is a shuttle to the main city area, but we were not told about this when we registered and got our exercise instead. The owner was friendly and spoke great English, but was not overly helpful. When we arrived, we asked about having supper at the hotel. He was going to check on whether the kitchen was open, but never got back to us. There was also no one around when we went to check out the following day. The highlights of this hotel are the great view for sunsets as well as a nice pool to cool off in.

"Villa Dreams"

10.0

Nice, relaxing stay. Arrived late afternoon and they sent the shuttle to pick us up. They ordered delicious Turkish food for us from a nearby restaurant as their restaurant was not yet open for the season. While the location was not central, the shuttle service made it a great place to stay, even without a car. Very accommodating and friendly. Loved relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine, good tunes, and an amazing view.
