B&B HOTEL Rio Copacabana Forte

The hotel's location is perfect and at an affordable cost which is the biggest point and is why we booked. Both copacabana and ipanema beaches are short walk away and the area is surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. The reception is modern, with some working spaces and lounge areas with seating which is a nice touch. The staff were all very welcoming, kind and helpful. There is a secured room to leave luggage also if needed. The room was basic but spacious and had everything we needed for the short stay (inc. mini fridge and a safe). The WiFi and air conditioning worked well for us. There's also a laundry room available on site (payable via app) with an iron. The hotel also has a rooftop with pool and great views.

We had the hotel breakfast just one day, it was okay.. It had variety of options and is affordable, but not really worth it. There are many other options in the surroundings. The bathroom felt outdated and not very clean, and could really do with some better maintenance. The housekeeping was inconsistent and did not really help with the feeling of cleanliness. One day the cleaning was minimal and the bathroom was not properly cleaned (mainly just towel replacement and bins emptied). More of an effort could be made to improve the stay, especially since the bathrooms were so outdated. Also the water pressure and hot water were weak, and seemed worse during peak hours. The room was in Tower 1 and there were renovations happening on other floors during our stay, so hopefully this will be solved soon, but worth keeping in mind when booking.

Nos dieron una habitación muy fea en el segund piso donde la ducha estaba mala, la solución fue esperar que llegara un tecnico a arreglarlo. Tuve que solicitar otra habitación, nos dieron una en el tercer piso en la cual la ducha tenía suelta la llave de agua fria, se cai todo el tiempo, la baldosa estaba rota y la puerta del baño no tenía manilla. Habia solo un enchufe en el sector camas y no habían luces de velador. Muy decepcionaste la experiencia.
