I'm appalled at how the beach is cleaned. There are so many broken glass shards on the beach. I found them at the first day and again the day after. I'm glad I didn't hurt my foot. I injured my knee in the pool on the damaged area. The wardrobe was rarely cleaned, and the bathroom faucet splashes water all over the mirror and floods the sink, because the sieve was missing All the other resorts provide plenty of drinking water. Here, you have half a liter per Person and day. Otherwise you have to buy it, or trink the water from the taucet… The pool at our Bungalow was not running and haden’t enough water. Such a large room and practically no electrical outlets! Also any in the bathroom and no light at the bedside. The toilet roll holder needs to be screwed in. The Soap was only Water! The staff in the restaurant are sometimes very friendly and sometimes extremely unfriendly. Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10 a.m., but by 9 a.m. they already want us gone. There were no fresh fruits, only canned ones! In comparison to other resorts, it is totally overpriced here. Also, the bicycles for two hours cost XPF 2,000, in the city you can rent them for an entire day! They offered us another room, but unfortunately, that room was just as dirty, it had cobwebs and ants in the bathroom. Staying in a junior suite in the garden without an ocean view is not an option for us. And even the overwater bungalow, which they kindly offered, is not an option, because we were looking forward to the beach house with its own pool. I really hoped that they would do everything they could to make us feel comfortable. They don't even bother to reply to us anymore. Terrible management and not at all customer-friendly.

Hôtel magnifique dans un super cadre et tout le personnel adorable. La villa avec piscine ainsi que le bungalow plage sont incroyables ! Très bon petit déjeuner, les cocktails au bar sont très bons pareil pour les coupes glacés et rien à redire sur le restaurant qui propose une carte variée. On reviendra avec plaisir !

If you're looking for a more laid back, out of the way, no glitz and glamour, and a just chill atmosphere, then this is your place. If you want another Bora Bora wow factor, then don't come here. This was the last stop of 3 for us (coming from Moorea and Bora Bora) and frankly this was just what we needed. An easy kick back resort where you could lay out at the pool, stay at your villa, or head out on an excursion for the day. You're on an atoll so it's very flat and different from many of the other islands yet there is still plenty to do if you want to. Obviously, this is a divers paradise so that's what most visitors do here...but you don't have to eiher. Pro-tip...if you're not going to stay in one of the overwater bungalows, at least stay in one of the Beach front Villas. We chose the Deluxe Beach front because there are only 3 of those that have a plunge pool as opposed to a jacuzzi and they are all on the sunset side of the property. One other note, it's our understanding that this resort will be starting and 3 year renovation in Nov. 2026 and will be closed for that time. So, if you want to stay here, now is the time. That being said, just know that it's a little dated but not horrible as some of the other reviews have suggested. It is what it is...

Le Kia Ora est parfait pour un séjour un peu "luxe" à Rangiroa. Les installations sont super, le personnel charmant, ils ont un très bon club de plongé et proposent plusieurs excursions. On a adoré nourrir les poissons depuis notre pilotis. L'hôtel met à disposition du pain de la veille pour cela c'est top !

Le restaurant pourrait améliorer les plats. On sent qu'ils tentent de faire une cuisine européenne sans vraiment la maitriser. Je leur conseillerais de rester sur de la cuisine locale qu'ils maitrisent !

Stayed 10 nights. The stay was excellent , had one hiccup , the people in the next bungalow had 3 little girls and they were celebrating a birthday. we complained at 9pm, the staff had us moved and upgraded by 9:30 that night. Amazing service. Actually all the prices and fees were very reasonable considering your in French Polynesia ! Tania and Ghislaine was very responsive to all our needs. Food ,snorkeling, and atmosphere was great ,relaxing and quiet. Would we go there again, absolutely! You go to a out of the way island resort for one reason, "peace and quiet". Dave and Nancy

We stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was fabulous. Clean, comfortable bungalow with a breathtaking view. So fun swimming off our private dock (careful at night though, we spotted a shark!). The rainshower was amazing and the bath products, so luxurious. We appreciate that the resort was smaller than others in Polynesia and not overcrowded. We liked the complimentary access to snorkeling gear and kayaks. We went scuba diving with Blue Velvet (by The 6 Passengers) located on the premises. Food was great, the buffet for the Polynesian show night was yummy! Also, if you want to stay longer after check out, they offer a “transit” bungalow to shower in. It is a pricey stay but worth it for a special occasion!

Staff was not very friendly with the exception of a few, information given in the room was inaccurate twice (first night got message that my checkout was at 11 when i was leaving 3 days later, etc…), bungalows don’t have anti mosquitoes nets around the bed yet are open via the roof, quite outdated bungalows with older decoration and style, bad smell in the bathroom, very expensive for what it really is which is a good 3 stars or a low 4 stars. I’d avise to pick a good pension instead
