Hotel Lodos

Hotel seemed recently renovated and our room was clean. The wifi signal wasn't great in our room and we would have appreciated having wifi by the pool. The pool itself was nice and well maintained. We didn't have running water one night but they had it fixed by the morning. The bathroom was small and the shower was cramped. We had a small patio with a bit of an ocean view. The AC was great to have. Some of the staff spoke little English but were willing to help regardless. The neighbourhood was excellent -- nice bakery, supermarket and restaurants within steps. 10-15 min walk to Fira, and the bus stop is right across the street to explore the rest of the island. Overall a great hotel for the prove.

No Wi-Fi in rooms . The breakfast was so shabby . Only butter, bread and cheese. Real distance to Fira centrum is 25 min. Good swimming pool .

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lodos and highly recommend it. The owners are so helpful and friendly. They picked me up from the airport (15Euro charge), Free wifi from your room. The room was nice and clean - shower was a little small, but apart from that everything was great. Basic simple breakfast, could have more on offer there. Hotel is out from the main hub of Santorini (about a 10 minute walk). You don't get the 'santorini sunset' views from this hotel. But it's a lovely place to stay. I would stay again as it was good value, and such friendly and helpful owners.

Really happy with our stay overall. At first we were disappointed by the look of the neighborhood which looked rough, busy and industrial. However, we changed our minds quickly as it was only about a minute ride on scooter to the heart of beautiful Fira town and also really central to the whole island. This made a great base.

Half mile from a loud city, Hotel Lodos is quiet, well maintained, family run hotel. A car helps anywhere on this island and Hotel Lodos is the perfect location, between a city, a small town, the beach, and the airport. My review was all excellent. The form was confusing on this questionaire. Please give grandma Petroula a hug for me. Nice family. Made me feel at home :-)

Satisfactory but wouldn't return . Good for basic accomodation

Very pleasing experience. great location. a good value for money. Its a family business, and everyone was nice and helpful. great and clean swimming pool for the lazy days.

Ok not exactly a castle, but I guess got the price it is ok. Few min driving to Fira, great bakery cross the road also bus stop to any destination cross the road. I guess it is in a great location. Unfortunately the bed it wasn't really comfortable, the blinds socurity was broken and also the light in the balcony was not working which left us to have to use a mobile phone one night while we had dinner. The owner I believe she was really nice but not much English spoken, but if you speak Spanish or Italian you can get by. It was ok, but not so romantic when you think about santorini as a romantic place.

good value for money. Good location..15mins walk from the main bus station. Restaurants around were good. Breakfast in the hotel is very basic and can be improved. Apart from that no complaints. Decent comfy rooms will stay again.

hotel was just one bus stop or 15mins walk away from fira. a very homely hotel with comfortable beds! run by a old couple who are very nice and kind but unfortunately they can't speak much english. also, the wifi can only be detected in the reception area.
