We are impressed since arriival. Beautiful Alpine Hotel, Staffs are Discreet, friendly and professional. Concierge, Doorman, Bar man are first class service. Feel like home that gives the feeling of cozyness, warm and reliable. Just one thing is about the manager at Megu that gave a bit of unfriendly attitude.

My wife and I and a close friend couple spent 4 nights at The Alpina Gstaad in September and enjoyed every minute of the visit. As others have said, we have traveled extensively and stayed in many 5 star hotels and none anywhere have ever exceeded The Alpina. This hotel is simply amazing. The views from the balcony overlooking town are just breath taking. The rooms and the overall decor are stunning. The service and the staff are first class. The food is Michelin star worthy. The concierge, front desk, spa, pools-are all staffed by friendly, helpful, professional people. We hiked and biked (with Alpina provided excellent E bikes) extensively every day with itineraries planned by the concierge and the staff. Perfect scenic routes and great advice from the Alpina made the days memorable. Spent afternoons in spa, pools, sauna, weight room etc. All outstanding. Perfect hotel. Perfect location. Worth the expense. We can’t recommend the Alpina highly enough. We will definitely return soon. Can’t wait.

Unparalleled view of the Gstaad region. Extremely attentive and helpful staff, wonderful collection of food, beverage and facilities.

We arrived on a Sunday in August and the pool was so crowded there were no chairs. Similar level of modest chaos going on in the outside and inside pool, saunas with families, kids running amok. That all changed over the next three days of our stay, with a much calmer and enjoyable component but the first day situation was a shock to the system given the expectation of "calm, serene, and relaxing."

I have been going to this hotel since 2015, and every year it confirms my expectations, in fact it gets better. The rooms, even the simplest ones, are spacious and equipped with every comfort. The spa is very well equipped and very clean. The indoor pool is really big. The quality of the food from breakfast to dinner is excellent. The bar has a great variety of cocktails. I really appreciated the focus on sustainability: gone is the plastic. It is also well equipped for children, the first year my son was 6 years old. what makes the difference is the staff, very kind and attentive to every request.

Our family stayed at The Alpina Gastaad for a week long vacation, and it is one of the most relaxing, rejuvenating, and memorable experiences we have had. We've been to our share of 5 star hotels, and The Alpina Gastaad stands out from the rest in so many ways -- from the beautiful ground in which it is located, the stunning and spacious guest rooms with breathtaking views, to the impeccable and friendly service you receive from every staff you encounter during the stay. We used the indoor and outdoor swimming pools every day, which the kids loved, and the massage treatments we received at the hotel were heavenly.
