Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Jackson

Im far from what you would consider fancy but this place was shockingly bad. The registration desk is behind glass with a recessed slot to pay and pass ID. There was a shirtless guy passed out on the sidewalk by my room. There were clearly people living in rooms long term. Bags of garbage stacked outside of rooms. I was there 10 minutes and returned to the desk to checkout/cancel and the lady behind the glass said only her manager could refund my money for two nights. At that point i didn't care. It was an expensive lesson to learn but it was worth it not having to sleep at that seedy suspect motel. FYI I've never posted a bad review of any establishment in my life. If i didn't like a place i just didn't go back. THIS place EARNED my first bad review.

The rooms were awful unsafe and dirty will not recommend

Get what you pay for. Things were pretty dirty. Flies, blood on bathroom wall, wouldn't take a shower but if you need a place to crash for the night it's fine.

Location was dark. Room dirty , spiders webs everywhere. Stained bathroom floor and tub. Light fixtures don’t work. Bed sheets not clean, stained. Wall light fixture had a burn marks up the wall. Didn’t feel safe

Average for price

It says no smoking, but when we arrived it smelled very strongly of marijuana, my wife couldn't stand the stench at around 6 am and went out to the yard to wait for Starbucks to open. It's good that it's nearby. There were a lot of cigarette butts on the floor in the bathroom. There were someone's pants under the sink. The room was very dirty. I don't recommend anyone to choose this hotel, even for free.

The rooms were way over priced. There were a couple of roaches in the bathroom. The air conditioning did not work. Felt unsafe the whole time

The area around the property was nice and convenient. There were plenty of food places, gas stations, etc. However the property itself was not well maintained; floors were dirty, bathroom was not cleaned, and the sheets had questionable stains.
