Captain Mey's Inn

We loved the porch that had a lot of private space to relax. We also loved that downtown was so close and so many things were within walking distance.

There was no breakfast! There should be one, given the price of the room.

(1) Given the price of the room, some form of breakfast should have been provided. (2) I was not looking to cancel the reservation. Nevertheless, allowing no opportunity for a full or partial refund in the event of a cancellation, may be the realities of the owner's market power...but it stinks.

The host was wonderful. It is a beautiful property. The location is great. We were able to walk to the beach, the restaurants, and the stores. We did not use our car while staying there.

We knew when we made our reservation that there was no breakfast, and that was a little disappointing.

My wife and I loved having a cup of coffee on the porch. It was serene!!!

Very clean and comfortable room. Quiet, couldn’t hear other guests. Location is great, perfect distance between the beach and town.

The location was absolutely perfect within walking distance to everything. The shopping food and entertainment was all right there. Lighthouse was a short 9 min ride away and the beach was a five or less min walk. The Inn keeper Katie was so friendly and polite and always available if we needed anything. The view and relaxing areas in the wrap around deck were all beautifully separated depending on your mood.

Even though there was a refrigerator to share within the rooms on the same floor that was ok but would have loved a small one inside of the room. Also the shower was very small. A large person would not have fit in the shower.
