Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin NW - Lakeway by IHG

Excellent service from the front desk. In our room, shower could never get very warm, but the sink had hot water. Also, my wife and I were trapped in the elevator until firemen were called. They said, it was the 3rd time this year that they had been summoned for that reason.

Family environment that made it a perfect getaway! The front desk employees-all of them, were friendly and service oriented! First time staying at holiday inn and Will definitely stay here again and ready to give holiday inn express another try due to this wonderful experience.

Wonderful. Friendly staff, immaculate room, comfortable perfect beds, quiet with easy parking and convenient location. As expected a great experience with zero complaints!

The staff were friendly and the room was nice. Most importantly, the rates were reasonable. All in all, a good experience.

Hotel changed room type as a guest prior to us wanted a king size room. Hotel didn’t offer any bottled water to purchase during our stay. Hotel locked us out of our room after the first night and we had to have new keys made. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Check in was a breeze. The receptionist was friendly, prompt and helpful.

Room and hallways smelled like cologne, feet, and cigarettes. Room was not properly cleaned.

I had to look for the front desk attendant to call attention to their not being breakfast food for over 25 minutes. I was told he was getting the cleaning staff ready to clean rooms. I asked if that was more important than there not being food for us and his reply was it will be done in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we decided to go somewhere to eat as there was still no hot foods. When we checked out I told the female desk attendant about the poor service her response was,”I’m not in charge of the food here”. I took photos of the empty hot plates and the dirty sticky floor. Our room was large and well equipped (king bed plus sitting area with frig and microwave). Only complaint is that the hot water was more luke-warm water.
