"Quiet, basic accommodation"

It was very quiet, and in a good location for walking. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Gardens and reception area were very nice. Towels were soft and fluffy. Everything was very clean. Plenty of parking. The area felt very safe.

The room we had was in need of a makeover, it was very dated and while adequate did have some short comings. The heavy curtain to shut out the light from the balcony did not extend for the whole window, although the light did turn off late at night. However, the light outside the bedroom window did not, and with only venetian blinds to close, there was way too much light in the bedroom overnight. Additionally, the couch was very hard to sit on - quite uncomfortable in fact. The unusual layout also meant no hanging space or places for suitcases in the bedroom. And a couple of microwave bowls would be helpful.
