Ambady Estate

Scenic location. Fantastic food of all cuisines having big portions. The breakfast is sumptuous. The rooms are huge with very high awe-inspiring wooden ceilings and the rooms were maintained super clean. The beds are comfy. The staff are very good and super efficient. We also enjoyed a trip into their organic cardomom plantation. And the icing on the cake was the fascinating conversations with the very friendly and well-read owner who is also a doctor; told us how the place itself has got a wonderful history. And overall good value for money too. Thanks to Ambady estate for the memorable experience!

Getting to Munnar itself is a pain due to its winding roads and the approach road to the estate is also not in the best shape. But those issues must be general to Munnar and have nothing to do with our actual stay at Ambady estate. The actual issues with the stay that we faced are with the bathroom: the plumbing is not great, the lighting is dull, the exhaust hides behind the curtain etc. : overall the bathroom needs a little bit of fixing or renovation. Also the living area of the estate is not that big to explore beyond a couple of days. Everything else with our stay at Ambady estate was just superb!

Wonderful tranquil locatio, we walked in the jungle grounds and watched the wildlife. They were obviously watching us to... Monkeys stole my wife's shoes! Staff were excellent and the food was very good.

This hotel given to us by you in replacement of Hotel Nest as Hotel nest has refused to give us the room. The treatment given by Hotels.com in this case was excellent. I have talked to USA lady and she has given us a funtastic replacement. We have really enjoyed the stay at Ambedy resiorts. Moreover we were overwhelmed by the response given by Hotels.com team in our case. The time taken to give replacement was a bit more but all in all we have enjoyed the stay and have decided to plan all our trips through Hotels. com only.

It was not worth the price. the Geyser didnt work, food was not great...no walk through of the premises arranged. Not much info abt Munnar shared. Breakfast had hardly any choices No one cleaned the room even after informing the reception and displaying the clean my room dangler
