Brilliant location right near mushroom beach. Staff was lovely and helped organise an amazing snorkelling trip where we saw manta rays.

Bugs absolutely everywhere- there was a slight crack in between the tiles which meant half an ants nest could crawl through if they wanted to. There was a fridge in the room which was about as useful as a cat flap on a submarine (it didn’t work). Said fridge kept being filled up with coke, water and lemonade which we thought was a lovely touch until we got charged 250k for it without staff letting us know it wasn’t free. Upon arrival staff didn’t explain how to use the facilities such as how to use the safe.

"The real Bali experience without the commercial tourist traps"

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the manager Numan and the wonderful masseuse Javin. The open-ceiling bathroom was perfect for the tropical setting. The breakfasts were delicious- try the dragonfruit smoothie bowl! We went snorkelling with the hotel boatman who took us to places along the island coast where we swam with turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The hotel was in walking distance to Mushroom Bay where you can swim or just relax and enjoy an aperitivo.

The sea in front of the structure was not a swimming beach- slippery rocks, lots of mored boats and the occasional jellyfish. The roads on the island are in really bad condition. The hotel can organise transport either by car or water taxi

Stunning location, peaceful zone, able to just relax and enjoy, take it all in! Jenny, (the pug), is hilarious!!

The toilet seat was broken, but that’s fine!
