Overall it was a nice property. We enjoyed our stay at this place

L'air climatisé était défectueuse dans la chambre et menait un bruit de fou. Sans fan ni air climatisé les bruits environnants étaient trop dérangeants pour permettre une bonne nuit de sommeil. Après discussion avec une employée, elle n'avait plus d'autres chambres de libre, ni de fan sur pied pour nous aider. Le lendemain nous en avons discuté avec un autre employé. Celui-ci nous a mentionné qu'il en parlerait avec le propriétaire pour trouver une forme d'accommodation, mais nous n'avons jamais eu de retour par la suite. Cela était notre 2e fois à cette hotel. Notre première expérience était super, mais cette fois-ci nous nous aurions attendu minimalement à un retour de la part du propriétaire.

I liked everything about the proprity. The location, the free bikes, the jacuzzi.

After 3 days & 150km of cycling on Petit Train the Auberge du Vieux Foyer was a welcome site, even if we had to cycle uphill. As we had recumbent trikes we could not put them in the secure place in the basement. Instead we locked them up in the hotel's bicycle rental area. We were welcomed in by the front desk & was a quick check in.The room was excellent & I was surprised by the Air Tub. Within a short time I was relaxing in the warm tub with 1000's of bubbles massaging my body. My husband enjoyed the separate shower. The internet signal was strong. Lots of places to plug in charging devises. Air conditioner on the wall was very quiet and easily controlled. The front desk arranged a taxi for our dinner. The breakfast the next day was great. Several hot egg choices plus juices, yogurts, cheeses, home-made jams, fresh fruit and coffee and tea as much as you wanted. I saw that you could also arrange for several body treatments & an outdoor pool was available but not on our plan.

Great place for comfort, friendly staff and the food is good

The room needs renovation (old carpet, old bedspread) but the excellent breakfast, free ski passes and access to a hot tub compensates for the room. And the price is excellent for what you get.

I was very disappointed of the room. Old wall to wall carpeting with carpet joint undone, quite old comforter should be replaced, lamp wabeling. Bathroom,hum, I had to clean the vanity counter myself. I don't think I will be returning for an overnight stay but I might go for a meal, the cuisine is excellent as is the service. Sad that they don't put the same importance in lodging.

Old but clean property in a nice setting. Great breakfast.
