Expérience mitigée. À ce prix vous faire payer les dosettes de café et le sucre dans les chambres 😡 Le personnel pour le breakfast pourrait être plus agréable, quel contraste avec l’ accueil. Hôtel très en pente personne à mobilité réduite attention ⚠️

We stayed for 7 nights. The location of Marpunta is really beautiful and the two private beaches that belong to the hotel are great. We didn't care for being at the pool, but the pool area is beautifully done. We had booked a room with a sea view and were first placed in a room that looked into another building. You could see the sea when you went on the terrasse and looked down the street. When we complained to the hotel and to hotels.com, we were upgraded to a really lovely deluxe room with a beautiful terrasse and view of the sea. The architecture (it is newly renovated) is very well done, but it seems like the management has not figured out how to give the resort soulfullness and personality yet. The lobby area by the beach is designed to have a bar, but they leave it even with the lights off and no staff in the bar. There are so many great ways that they could utilise it better, but the hotel feels understaffed and the staff seems overworked. The food at the hotel is not nearly as good as what you can get at restaurants on the island. I wish they would make it less generic like a resort and give it more personality in the choices of what they offer. The hotel is a bit away from anything and you need a car, if you want to get around easily. There are only four taxis on the island, and it is very complicated to get one, if you need to get back in the evening after dinner. All that said we really enjoyed our week at Marpunta and felt that we got a lot of value for our money

Il resort è splendido e io mare antistante quasi sempre cristallino e di un bellissimo color smeraldo. Pulizia eccellente. MA: servizio scadente soprattutto al bar, sembra ti facciano un favore a darti quello che hai chiesto, la scortesia regna sovrana, sembra siano loro in vacanza anziché gli ospiti. Si percepisce la totale assenza di una regia, questo purtroppo a livello dell’intero complesso. Cibo non solo riperitivo, non solo menu fisso identico a se stesso a pranzo e a cena contrariamente a quanto publicizzato, ma soprattutto, ed è questa la vera nota dolente, di scarsa qualità, con alcune pietanze semplicemente immangiabili e dolci che è generoso definire imbarazzanti.

Best resort in Alonissos. Beautiful pool and access to 2 private beaches. Very helpful staff. This was the highlight of our trip to Greece.

The breakfast was very common and it didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed for 1 week and we decided to have it elsewhere for the last 3 days. Apart from 1-2 staff members, no one seemed to enjoy their work... The most annoying thing though was that some of the hotel images we could see were not matching what we finally faced. Also even if the list of facilities included a gym and a playground, we couldn’t see them somewhere. And last, don’t expect a good Internet connection. Even if you will have good signal, speed won’t go beyond 1,5 Mbps

Πανέμορφο ξενοδοχείο που απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά από το λιμανι μέσα σε πευκόφυτο δάσος, δυστυχώς κπ πλαγιά του βουνού είχε καεί στις αρχές Ιούλη. Το προσωπικό ευγενεστατο, πεντακάθαρο χώροι κ δωματια ( Καθημερινή αλλαγή κλινοσκεπασματων κ πετσετων), πισίνα ιδανική για παιδιά κ παραλία ήσυχη με μεγάλο βότσαλο. Το πρωινό υπερπληρες, χρειαστήκαμε επιπλέον στο δωμάτιο ηλεκτρικό μάτι για να ζεσταίνουμε το γάλα της μικρής κ μας το παρείχαν αμέσως. Ιδανικό για οικογένειες που θέλουν ήσυχες κ ποιοτικές διακοπές. Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα.

All you want from a Greek island experience. Apartment are clean with fabulous showers. Helpful shuttle driver. Good coffee. Beautiful scenery, beaches and hiking.
