We came specifically for diving (which we did not do due to illness). For that the hotel is perfect, fantastic reef with a reputable dive shop on the premises. This time as I booked via booking and not through an operator (tui) we had a very good-big room in main building. Food on the evening when is oriental/local was nice. Nice touch with single serve prebiotic yogurt for breakfast.

Food apart from the oriental evening leaves quite a lot to be desired. Typical bain-marie stuff. You will not go hungry but you might get a stomach bug, due to reuse and things sweating in bain-maries. Don't even bother with the italian restaurant, i don't know why the italian guests to not rebel. Very big minus for the chauffeur service. Guy balantly ripped us off and the car was a rund down ruin with the driver breaking rules and driving in general in a very unsafe way.

"A room with water view at the adult beach area is terrific"

Service was exceptional. Food was good with lots of variety at every meal. The traditional dinner at Seafood restaurant was wonderful as were Egyptian and Nubian dinners. Shout out to Ahmed (and the front desk team), Elle at Orca dive, Hassam for help with all our dining, Mohammed the Chef, Mina for Spa bookings (and Hana and Ebram our masseuses) for making our stay wonderful.

It would be great to have more Egyptian offerings at the buffet. We appreciated that there was always something local at each meal and the grill.

Very good resort for a week's stay, clean, comfortable, properly manned, nice. Beach is acceptable and reef around the property good (front water is shallow and rocky, but there is a walk-pier for reaching deeper water). Food is ok, without exceptional peaks. Staff kind and helpful.

I would improve entertainment. People in the job there, were good and put effort in the shows, but they were few of them. Sunday show good.
