The accommodation was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a self-catering stay. Really enjoyed the private splash pool and the boma area with a built-in braai, it was perfect for relaxing in the evenings and made for a great social space. The lodge is set in a peaceful, secluded part of the wildlife estate. It was a treat to see animals like nyala and kudu roaming nearby, truly a tranquil bush experience. The host Susan was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Any questions or minor issues were dealt with promptly and professionally.

There were minor plumbing issues in the bathrooms of Units 3 and 4, where water tended to flow slightly outward. While it didn’t affect normal shower use, it could be improved to ensure a more comfortable experience. Some areas of the lodge, including door runners and shower water pressure, could benefit from a bit of maintenance. The gravel road leading to the lodge was a bit challenging, especially after rain. Could be difficult for smaller vehicles. It’s something to consider when planning your arrival.

42@Ditholo was a disaster,we did not like anything about the unit

On arrival,the house was dirty,full of bugs and spider webs.The house was stuffy,we had to clean ourselves.The cleaner was only brought the following day.The swimming pool was very dirty,no one assisted in getting it cleaned.We were left in a dark with no electricity for a night,only to find out that the owner did not purchase.We were given the token thw following morning,it was too dark and scary.Too hot with no aircons as there was no electricity.We were told to light candles and have a romantic evening,what on earth.No lighters for those candles.I will never recommend 42@Ditholo to anyone.

It was welcoming and Susan was really helpful whenever we needed anything.

We didn’t like the offish smell that came from the drainage in the bathrooms , it didn’t make it pleasant because the house had a funny smell.
