It's a beautiful home with a splashpool, which the kids enjoyed. Lovely quiet stay for the family and got to spot many animals. Our favorite were the giraffes.

There was broken glass and cigarette stomps around the pool that were not cleaned, I guess from previous guests, which the kids could've missed because of excitement. Bathrooms need a bit of maintenance, which I have already shared with the host.

Great property. Very clean and in a beautiful nature estate.

The lack of cell phone reception and internet was a bit of a down (but this is not the fault of the owners of the place).

Beautiful house. Very neat and clean. Lovely pool. The boma was the cherry on top.

The road to house is terrible

Quiet, tranquil and very comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, generally clean, and a very pleasant stay. Great to have wild animals roam around the property and the lodge is close by, where we took an eventful game drive (after running out of petrol!) but all a nice experience

There are a quite a number of maintenance issues, 4 areas of broken floor tiles - which could cut barefoot if shows wernt worn. Oven was filthy dirty, and we had to request to send a cleaner in to clean, which was done - thanks. Quite a lot of water damp issues with some doors unable to open, broken skirting boards and cornices in a poor shape. One bedroom outside door which we could not open during our stay was not fixed nor any attempt to fix. No wood on arrival, we had to fetch from a local store.

Being in the bush, away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Weak cell reception was good thing as we could spend some quality time together as a family. Dishwasher and washing machine are a bonus. Beds were very comfortable. Some maintenance is needed, but this did not influence our stay negatively. The sparkling pool was our lifesaver to escape the heat, as were the airconditioners in all the rooms.

The dirt road to the lodge was less pleasant. An ice maker in the villa will be a bonus as one cannot buy ice on the premises. Another big fridge would be nice to have especially during hotter months and with a full house. Could not use garage, alternative form of shaded parking would've been nice.

The layout of the house is absolutely amazing. Group and family friendly. The outside showers were lovely.

😅 the tiny frogs were unsettling, but, that's not a problem to those who don't mind frogs. Plus, it's expected, the house is literally in the middle of the wild.

Animals, pool and the house it self

The place needs to be fumigated at least once a month. Yes its in thd bush but some things like spider webs 🕸 and ants to name a few shows that its not been cleaned properly. The fridge wasn't working properly, the lights on the passage towards the bedrooms on both sides were not working
