An absolute gem of a hotel, and a lucky find. Quite incredible local produce, succulent tasty hams, meats, cheeses, entire meltingly sweet honey-comb, local preserves and fantastic delicious ommelettes for breakfast and near-michelin star quality evening meals! Really quite outstanding top quality food including an array of choices, venison, duck, beef, stunning pickles and sauerkraut and salads as other guests raved about and agreed. Nothing disappointed during our 5 day stay. All expectations were exceeded. Beautiful homely relaxed and dignified spa area, perfect way to detox and unwind after skiing. The ski area is an absolute treat - perfect for every level of skier/snowboarder with a great lift system and spacious uncluttered pistes with barely any queuing. Thriving town with something for everyone and the short hop to Obergurgl was a delight too. Even quieter than Solden but great terrain and lifts not to mention breathtaking views with tree skiing and 3300m glaciers similar to Solden. Will definitely be returning!! Absolutely loved it all! RS
