Location, location, location!

Hotel Rodes is situated close to the airport and there are lots of flights in and out of Palma Airport, however the noise levels are not bothersome at all. The hotel itself is right on a beautiful beach, which is clean and the sea is pretty calm most of the time. Back to the hotel itself, we had a courtyard view which is not attractive in any way, I would definitely recommend upgrading to a seaview. The room was very clean with plenty of storage. Twin beds, one of which had squeaky springs! The walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations, however we were lucky to only have one adjoining room. Buffet breakfast was served between 8am-10am and there was plenty of choice to suit all appetites. Overall a great hotel, close to airport and the beach.

A relaxing one week recharge in Springtime. This international hotel is just 10 minutes by taxi from Palma Airport but right on the beachfront just outside C'an Pastilla on the Playa de Palma. Also only 30 minutes on the no.15 bus to Palma city and some great sightseeing. There are 15 beach bars along the beachfront and this hotel is adjacent to the B15 cafe bar. A very popular location for cyclists due to the 5km long and flat promenade with restricted vehicle use, although a taxi can collect you from the door. We'd definitely recommend the Rodes hotel for a relaxing sunny holiday and the staff were always helpful; reception, restaurant, bar and maids, etc. A good value restful stay with breakfast included. Great place to stay - quiet location, ON the beach, ideal, and very competitively priced.

Great location with footsteps from the beach. Friendly service. Excellent breakfast with WiFi access. Good parking possibility. Felt very safe. Comfortable lobby with lot of reading material.

I found the hotel to be ok. Had a room booked for four singles (I don't know why I selected that) and the front desk offered an ocean view for same price which I thought was acceptable. Beautiful view and nice sized room. Beds were a little firm for my taste but I survived. Had a little difficulty checking in they were saying I needed a PIN number for a credit card. I advised there was none and their machine was saying I had to have one. Luckily she went into office and used another that worked just fine without one. Free breakfast and the food was excellent for a free breakfast. Hotel is within walking distance to major bus routes into the city and airport. To City is 1.50Euro, airport 3Euro. Would stay again!

I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it. I paid a little extra for a sea-front view (and balcony), which gave me a view of the beach right out front -- and was worth it, considering the prices are very competitive. The place is clean, with friendly service, and a great breakfast. It was quiet. The (free) wifi didn't work in my room but in the lobby it was fine. The hotel has a perfectly good restaurant. The airport is very close (take the 21 bus to the first stop, I think, otherwise the taxi wasn't cheap because of the minimum charge). And Palma is about 15 minutes away via bus 25.

We stayed at the Hotel Rodes fro 3 nights 10-13 Sept. Location is superb....right on the beach. The hotel is German owned and run. It's basic but spotless and the staff could not be more friednly and helpful. The beds are really comfy. The aircon is fantastic. Bathroom is small but really clean and showers are really powerful. I guess the only thing that would be good in the rooms would be a small fridge but that's being really picky! Breakfast is more than adequate - continental selection but also has fried ham/bacon and eggs. The hotel restaurant is excellent. Bit pricier than other places but you get what you pay for.....the meat cooked on the bbq is superb. Would highly recommend it. We will definitely be going back there.

The hotel is a stones throw from the beach, excellant breakfast and evening meals, the hotel is at the quieter end of resort, Palma is a short bus ride away, couldnt have asked for more, we are returning next year
