Hotel Siuranella

Location- you feel inside a fairy tale. The village is super cute and picturesque. The views are mind blowing. The hotel is also cute and very tidy. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Personal service at breakfast

Nothing. The only warning - the road to the hotel is curvy, arrive while there is still light outside

Au coeur même du village, proche des principaux points de vue et très bien placé pour qui souhaite randonner dans le coin.

L'obligation (en septembre quand il n'y a quasi plus de touristes) de se garer au parking (3€) à 800m de l'hôtel, à porter des valises qu'on ne peut pas faire rouler car le sol est "brut", sans même la possibilité de s'approcher en voiture, déposer les bagages pour aller la garer au loin, franchement ce fut une très mauvaise surprise en pas affichée avant la réservation. A l'arrivée à l'hôtel, personne à la réception, tout se passe sans contact humain, très limite pour un hôtel, ce n'est pas un "Air BnB". Ensuite la chambre, très petite, "balcon" minuscule, pas de poubelle, pas de petit frigo. A plus de 180€ la chambre, franchement, c'est abusé.

Limited choice of restaurants in August, and considering this is the Priorat wine region there was ONE choice of local.wine producer. This is a daytime tourist venue and is practically empty at night. Hotel is not staffed. Keybox and code entry only. No signage to hotel from carpark about 200m away over very large uneven cobbles. Only bring a small, light carry bag for overnight as it is too far to carry or wheel anything larger. Definitely not a place for anyone with stability issues. There is currently a major road diversión leading to the hotel which is poorly signposted and not notified in advance by the hotel.

Amazing location within a picturesque medieval Catalan village. The hotel is newly refurbished and is a charming traditional building with an elegant modern touch. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is to die for and the rooms and ensuites are brilliant. A big thank you to Mohamed for making our stay a great one and thanks Deborah for all the pre check-in info. Highly recommended.
