Casas De Romaria

El entorno rural y el pueblo. Es un museo a cielo abierto. María tiene muy buen gusto y ha recolectado innumerables objetos antiguos del Portugal cotidiano que exhibe con sensibilidad artística. La casa está muy bien equipada. Vale la pena sentirse inmerso en un pasado que ya no existe en otros sitios.

Son casitas antiguas pero con muchísimo encanto. La dueña increíblemente amable y simpática.

Hay muy poca hostelería, de hecho, solo hay un bar-restaurante, pero para un día, perfecto. Muy amables.

Super stopover in an Alentejo village. Comfortable, quiet & access to a pool. Kitchen facilities for those who want them. Efficient aircon. Good continental breakfast.

Not a complaint but be aware that this is a traditional village not designed for parking & easy footpath access. You will find a space, but need to be reasonably sure-footed to get to the accommodation & up the stairs

The location

There were a lot of ants everywhere. We were there by motorcycle and our helmets were completely overrun by ants. Also the pillows were almost none existent and the beds were very hard.

We liked the character of the property and Hamlet. Beds were very comfortable.

Didn't like the bathroom being on ground floor so had to come down steep narrow stairs at night for the toilet. Needed to supply tea bags and coffee in the kitchen. Was the only place that didn't provide anything on our entire 7 day trip around Portugal. Needs to provide more than 2 wine glasses for a 3 bedroom unit.

Lovely host who told us all about the village and suggested a great place to eat.
