SMILE SMART INN HAKATA

We needed an affordable place near the ferry terminal as we were in Fukuoka for only one night before taking the ferry to Busan. The staff was great and the room served it's purpose... clean and roomy enough for a Japanese room (so it's small, but no smaller than other hotels). My only real issue was the hallway (on our floor) smelled terrible. The room didn't have the smell though, so that's fine.

I stayed two nights at Smile hotel and it was a great place for the price. Room was very clean, so was the bathroom and the staff were quite professional and very nice. It is very close to the Fukuoka Ferry Terminal and also to the Hakata Station. For the price, it was more than what I expected the place to be. There are quite a few convenient stores right by hotel as well, the Kawabata mall is within 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel as well

駅からも遠く、コストの観点からみてもあまり良くありません。 ひとり旅でただ寝るだけなら良いでしょう。

フロントの方の対応は抜群です。親切で丁寧。「おかえりなさいませ」「行ってらっしゃいませ」という決まり文句も爽やかで心が篭ってると感じます。 残念ながらホテルの建物は大変古く、部屋の家具も装飾も古びてます。掃除は行き届いてますが、壁紙のカビやカーテンの汚れは悲しい限りです。 私ひとりならまた泊まりたいと思いますが、友人家族と一緒なら遠慮します。

スマホの充電器などの貸し出しがあり、またそれらの在庫もわかりよかったです。 ホテル回りも静かでコンビニも近くにありました。

地下鉄最寄り駅から徒歩約10分、スーツケースがあるとちょっと大変かも。コンビニが近くにあります。寝るだけならば問題ないかもしれませんが、隣の部屋でシャワーを浴びると水の音が聞こえるので、そういう音が気にならなければ良い。朝食をつけたが、別で頼むと600円するようだが、会場が地下で、暗い感じがするので、相当ここの朝食が食べたいという強い気持ちがない限りは、コンビニおにぎりのほうがいいのではと思った。 フロントの方の対応は大変よいので、この対応と部屋のレベルと朝食のレベルに差があるのがもったいないな、と思った。

チエックイン時に予約時点で喫煙ルームを指定しているからと言われ、そんなことはしていないと言っても取り合ってくれず喫煙ルームにされた。6階だったが、エレベーターを出たところからきょうれつに臭く。室内もタバコ臭いし、トイレ・バスのユニットはとてもカビ臭かった。 メンバーズカードを作りことを勧められたが、この系列のホテルを使うことは今後ないと思ったので断った。

This was the least expensive option that I could find on short notice to get out of town for the weekend, since I preferred not to go to a capsule hotel with two of us. The whole room is smaller than our master bedroom, and we live in a Japanese apartment, so that says something. Although it is compact, the room provides all of the bare necessities, plus a full bath that wouldn’t look out of place on an airplane. This isn’t my first time in Fukuoka, but I had never seen this hotel in particular, so I wasn’t expecting to open the window and stare at a wall. I’m not totally disappointed with what we got for the money, but I think we’ll spend a little more next time for more space and an actual view. I guess we all live and learn.

国際会議場での会議があり、徒歩で5分ほど便利でした。従業員の方の対応も良く、ホテルの部屋が古いわりには快適でした。可能なら、廊下を明るくし、ドアだけでも新しくした方がなお良いと思います。ドアを開けて部屋に入る瞬間に毎回異臭があり、入るとなれる？のですが、入室時は気になりました。

チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってもらえて助かりました。
