Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton Gateway

Unfortunately probably the worst mattress I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Actually had a big dip in it from right of center. Felt like I was sleeping on a ledge. Staff were nice and place generally lovely. But $220 for that mattress is unacceptable. Will be requesting a refund, or not staying there again and advising my soccer team the same.

Nice hotel

At Expedia the profile stated that complimentary breakfast is offered, but it was not. Also the hot tub was not active.

This hotel was ok. The rooms were quiet, clean and spacious with nice beds. The customer service was poor, we had to ask several times and different staff to get towels to the pool and coffee made in the lobby, the front desk staff seemed to ignore each request so we’d go up to our room and call housekeeping. The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic! The pool area was unkempt and dangerous. It didn’t require a key fob to enter and one morning we went to the pool and the area was trashed. Garbage everywhere, safety equipment strewn about, tables chucked into the pool…. The staff didn’t seem to notice or care.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but we stayed for the hot tub, which was not working. Luckily, we had the whirlpool in our room, which is nice.

The hot tub was out of service for sometime, then when it was working, the water was super cold. So we didn't use it.

Customer service was nice

Our room was very basic, the big king bed was the best part although the pillows were terrible, so squishy I could have used more. I thought by paying over 200 for one night it would be really boogie and it just wasn't. I would be more comfortable paying 80 bucks less at a travelodge. Was not worth the money, only came for a work event and don't think I'll come back. Thanks for your time.
