Excellent property and location, the room was a dream and I was told it was not a regular room but one they used for last minute bookings - we booked half an hour before arriving there. The regular rooms are suites each with a private terrazza overlooking the vast garden. The breakfast was abundant and very good. Their restaurant is about 2 chilometres away with excellent food and view of the surrounding area. Definately merits another planned not last minute visit.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concerts. Just 20 minutes by car away, yet at a fraction of the price, this is a great value hotel. The surrounding area is lovely and so peaceful. The hotel manages to combine the original 80 year old building with a smart new section and it works perfectly. The rooms are huge, ours had a lovely patio overlooking the fields. The breakfast which can be taken in the courtyard was sufficient and tasty and all the staff were adorable. Only slight blemish was that there was no a/c, which would have been a blessing on such a hot weekend. If you are considering somewhere however for Andre Rieu, I highly recommend this hotel if you have a car.

Enjoyed a menu with nice view over valley. Nice personal and good food. Can only recommend it and hope to go there for a stay. My partner would like to go during winter season for the sight must be extra ordinary.

We have just had a lovely stay accompanied by Dutch friends, for 4 nights B&B in Gerardushoeve Hotel, which offers superb accommodation food & comfort & definitely deserves recognition for quality as the standard is excellent. The rooms either have views across beautiful surrounding countryside or overlook the lovely inner courtyard.The continental breakfasts were splendid & included many home made treats.The ambience in & around the hotel was so peaceful & appealing & made for a very relaxing stay.The area is ideal for walking/ biking & the hotel supplies maps plus a pamphlet every day with relevant information about the surrounding area. We thought the hotel offered great value & the staff were also very welcoming, helpful & friendly.The Gerardus Hoeve Hotel was like a hidden gem & we felt we had been let in on the secret! Our only regret is we do not live nearer (we live in Ireland) as we would definitely visit the hotel more often, but for now we have to be content to return in the not too distant future!

Room: as pictured/described in the website, big, separate seating area. Bathroom: big. Location: a bit difficult to find, especially at night. Breakfast: average. Guests: mostly mature people. Plus point: We were given a folder containing information on the history of the hotel and list of activities to do. When we checked out, the person in charge even shook hands with us. Conclusion: A very nice family-run hotel in a quiet surrounding.
