All the staff and managers were really very cooperative and helpful to make my stay very comfortable. The size of the room was good and washroom was also very clean and newly renovated.

The Golden Coast Hotel is tall—and that’s all. It may be listed as a three-star hotel in the city center, but in practical terms the management quality drags it down to below a one-star, almost like a roadside truck-stop hotel. My observations: 1. An extra single bed was placed in the double room. Its mattress was completely worn out, with springs sticking out—unsafe and unacceptable, as it could injure a guest. However, same was rectified by staff later on my complaint. 2. Soup spoons were provided for stirring tea and sugar. Completely improper. 3. There was no whitener for Nescafé coffee. When I asked, the reception replied: “We don’t have a policy to keep whitener.” 4. No tissue box in the room. 5. Shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and lotion were provided in tiny “injection-size” bottles. The soap bar was around 3×3 cm with a thickness of less than 3 mm. 6. The Wi-Fi was only nominal. After traveling across three countries on this trip, it was surprising to see such poor speed and connectivity in 2025. It felt like stepping 20 years back in time. 7. The electric kettle cable was so short that it had to be placed under the table just to function. 8. Suana functions but steam room non fuctional and remained out of order during my 4 days stay 9. I was charged as per earlier rates at the time of booking whereas the day i had to check in and pay was a sale of black friday for which i was not entertained. 10. The Reception Staff needs to be educated for etiquetes / mannerism with guests. Overall hotel staff, reception even manager had a unwelcoming looks similar to the rotten fruit they always kept in the breakfast (as per pics) and sticked to same average breakfast menu through out. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience of my 50 years of travel and dozens of Booking.com reservations. Ultimately, it’s not the size & location of the building that defines a hotel’s quality—it’s the management’s ability to meet basic, modern standards.
