Paradise in Portugal

What wonderful people that run the place. It was like arriving at friends house. Definitely have dinner with the family and enjoy the delicious food.

Great place! Very quiet and welcoming. Beautiful location and plenty to do. Food was excellent home cooked fare. Will certainly try to go back.

There are many words I could use to describe this place but Paradise says it all . If you want room service, bathrobes, slippers and a minibar go somewhere else . However if you want peace absolute quiet, great food , fantastic company then go to paradise. Frank and Daniela have created a unique place. The lake is wonderful for swimming or messing about in a boat. Rooms are rustic very clean and comfortable. No choice of meals - the gong is sounded at 1pm for lunch and 7pm for dinner and from the kitchen comes amazing home cooked food - thank you Daniella. Everyone eats together one evening about 30 of us - another 10 of us. Amazing conversations like having a first class dinner party every night. If that wasn't enough then there's the bird watching - Frank does day trips/ half day in fact anything you want he is very knowledgeable and it is a birdwatchers paradise , we would certainly be back whoever we visit again

Für uns waren dies der Einstieg in unseren Urlaub. War dafür hervorragend geeignet, um Abstand von Hektik und Trubel zu bekommen. Der Stausee ist phantastisch zum Baden geeignet, warm + sauber. Die Verpflegung ist sehr liebevoll, gegessen wird an einer einer großen Tafel, mit allen Gäste gemeinsam.

This place is tranquility. It's just so relaxing. Have walks in the nature or swim in the lake. Lay down and do nothing. Listen to the birds singing and the bees buzzing. The food is great and served with a smile. If you just need to get away from it all, this is the place to go.

Paradise in Portugal is appropriately named, as it was indeed an amazing place to enjoy nature and the peace and serenity of the lake The owner has spent many years establishing such a beautiful environment for lovers of nature. Meal times are like a large family gathering with the owners joining the guests. A font of information about birds, Frank shares his knowledge punctuated with many amusing stories. We met some lovely people and will remember our experience with great fondness. Nothing was too much trouble, from laying and lighting a fire in our room every night to helping us out with petrol when we were getting low.

Paradise hotel ligt in een schitterend natuurgebied en biedt veel mogelijkheden voor wandelingen e.d.. Zeer deskundige gids voor birdwatching.

Dejligt sted med masser af ro, sol og vand. Søde værter som driver stedet. Meget imødekommende. Priser for mad og drikke på stedet dog i overkanten. Ikke mulighed for at spise andre steder i nærheden. Mindst 1 times kørsel væk. Manglende oplysninger om 4 hunde som går frit rundt på ejendommen. Rigtig dårlig vej ca 4 km lang som går til ejendommen. Meget smuk natur og en fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til søen. Masser af kanoer, kajakker og andet vand legetøj.

Nette quinta in einer außergewöhnlichen Lage, der See und die Landschaft sind sehr schön! Engagierte Betreiberfamilie, die Möglichkeiten außerhalb der quinta etwas zu unternehmen oder Essen zu gehen sind allerdings sehr eingeschränkt, dies sollte man bei der Buchung unbedingt berücksichtigen. Zimmerkomfort & Frühstück im Vergleich zu anderen quintas eher unterdurchschnittlich.
