Pleasant friendly small guest house - ideal for a mini city break

I stayed over weekend arrived on Friday night after 12am and Saturday but the stuff were very nice and I left my luggage there till about 4pm. Because I arrivedfrom very late the stuff told me who to contact and where to get my keys from. In the morning I had a very good breakfast and went out for city seeing. Arrived in the evening. I had a shared bathroom but that wasn't a problem at all, to be honest I seriously have no idea who the other person wasis, we didn't see each other. The actual location is very good, the underground is 3 minutes walk away. The actual hotel/guest house is very nice, comfortable and quite. If you want a gateway to see the city then I sure recommend to stay. I'll have to go again and visit Glasgow so most likely I'll stay here.

Lovely cosy guest house, quiet, comfortable and clean.

Lovely stay. Warm welcome and due to a problem with the window in my booked room (which was a single room with shared bathroom) I was upgraded to a double en suite. The whole place is warm and spotless in a typically impressive Victorian Glasgow home. The Guest House overlooks the very picturesque Kelvin River, right in middle of the West End which always has plenty to offer, yet the place is silent at night. Slept wonderfully and the breakfast was great (including soya/almond milk and loads of gluten free options). Would happily recommend.

The stay was for a long weekend away visiting our son at Glasgow Uni. Various places of interest are walkable, however also a subway station nearby for those cold and wet times!! We did find the bedroom a little chilly and the duvet a bit thin however otherwise the room itself was fabulous as were the staff and breakfast.
