Aeolis Boutique Hotel

Nice enough hotel in good location. Staff were good. The pool area is a bit small but they've done the best they can in a limited space. I'm afraid I had an issue with my room. It was a downstairs room in the corner facing onto the main street. It had a small balcony/terrace that gave me a great view of people walking by. The room was a bit dark and no in-room safe. Maybe I'm wrong but I just felt as a solo traveller I was low down the pecking order. I asked for a higher room but nobody got back to me. I was only there a few days so maybe no time and the hotel was quite full. I don't like leaving negative reviews and I'm trying to be fair and give them the benefit of the doubt but I just wasn't very happy with my stay, I'm afraid.

It was a very good hotel. Its location was good although not the very best. However, it was very clean, safe and the most important, its service was excellent. Penny at the front desk was very helpful and very supportive and nice, but Georges Gratsias was really superb!!!! He was so helpful with everything we need, so supportive, but most important, he was extremely nice. He is just the best. Thank you both, but thank you Georges for making such a difference!!!!!!!

While staff were friendly and tried their very best, we were disappointed by the hotel. The air-conditioning in our room was broken, and despite attempts to fix it it did not work well throughout our stay. There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom sink. The door to the bathroom could not be closed. There was no room around the pool for more than a couple of people to use it. For us, the pros (very good staff and good location) did not make up for the poor quality of the hotel itself.

The hotel personell at the reception did their absolute best to make our stay as good as possible. So from that aspect there are no complaints. However, there is mismatch between what is described and pictured and reality of the boutique hotel. - there are descriptions on the amenities that are not true in reality (full-service spa, coffee/tea maker in the rooms, pillow menu, pillowtop mattress, soundproof rooms). The lack of some of this is in dialogue described as due to covid, but then I think the hotel should be making this clear on their site. The rooms for sure are not even close to be soundproof. Not sure why this is listed at all as you can hear everything. Being boutique, I also would expect something extra but I did not experience anything that would make this hotel Boutique. F.ex the breakfast is a standard continental breakfast, and the juice of low quality concentrate and the coffee machine is not suitable the breakfast rush. My room had a fridge that was in a closet. However its door got stuck to the frame everytime so that I actually has to lift the fridge to be able to close it. Should be easy to fix, but it should be done. On the positive note, the hotel provided beach towels and parking which was very helpful. So all in all, the level of expectation the hotel had created with me on their website did not match reality, although Penelope and George really did all they could to make the stay nice.

Great location, walkable distance to the center of Naxos, and very friendly and attentive staff, provided great beach, bars and food recommendations.

Unlike most of the other hotels in the vicinity, Aeolis offers a very good parking less than 100m from the propriety. The location is perfect, being close enough to the city center so that one can walk there every night, but not too close that the noise of downtown becomes a problem. Staff was super helpful and friendly, giving great tips on what to do, and where to go. Our main problem, however, was the shower: it's one of those "capsule" models, which some peoplr may like, but we particulary detest. We asked the front desk, and aparently is the same for every room. Apart from that, the hotel is perfect! I do recomend.

The location in the town is excellent , near the town centre & 3 minutes to the beach . A enjoyable multi choice breakfast . Good swimming pool with ample space to sunbath . A very pleasant stay with very friendly , competent staff

Our stay here was a welcome break during an intense period of travel in Greece. Hitting the pool shortly after our arrival felt incredible. The staff was incredibly professional and hospitable. They had tons of wonderful recommendations for activities on the island. The hotel is centrally located close to all restaurants, shops, the port, and historic quarter. It also has complimentary parking in a private lot. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.
