Close to a nice beach and small town.

We booked a villa with a shared pool. The first surprise is that these villas are located away from the main buildings of the hotel. Nothing was said about this, which is strange. For breakfast you have to walk a few minutes along the road with no curb, which is not very convenient. The villas themselves are near the road and cars can be heard. It was quite dirty when checking in - the couches and cushions clearly haven't been cleaned in a while. . The mattress by the pool was soaking wet and water was pouring from it. The toilet flush button was ripped off and just stood there. The phone in the room did not work. Reception promised to fix everything. Eventually a man came and just put the drain cover in place. The lid was loose and after pressing it the water continued to flow noisily. You had to push it several times each time to stop the water. Mattresses were never changed. Internet in the room is very bad, we could not use it. As a result, we used a cell phone throughout the rest. Cleaning as such simply was not. Poolside puddles and streaks have not been removed in 5 days. Bed linen was also not changed. Thrown on the floor towel just lifted and put back on the shelf. There are a lot of streaks on the bathroom shelves where the towels are. The rooms themselves are quite old - old furniture, dirty sofas that just do not clean. The air conditioner in the room was quite noisy. The kitchen lacks basic supplies such as dishwashing detergent or sponges. You have to pay separately for the safe in the room, as well as for beach towels. Very mediocre breakfast. Coffee and juices are disgusting. Very weak pressure in the shower. There was no hot water for several days. Apparently it only comes on when the occupants of other rooms do not turn on the water. Dirty pool. In summary, the quality does not match the price - very budget option with poor service for quite a lot of money. Plus the quality of cleaning is generally below any standards.

I really enjoyed plenty of watermelon being available for breakfast everyday. I liked that the cleaning lady came in to clean up the appartment every day, and usually made it before we got back from the breakfast. Deifnitelly kudos to cleaning ladies. The small water park for kids was awesome, kids enjoyed and their parents as well - we could just chill on the beds by the pool. It was possible ot have the bar orders delivered to the kids pool / appartment.

We stayed for 10 days, and the breakfast became a bit repetitive. I definitelly had better eggs (omelette, scrambled...) before, but I didn't feel particularly offended by the way the eggs were served here. The lights in the rooms were worn out. It seemed like the frames that held the light blinds by the beds developed a layer of rust. We also had to buy a RAID spray to fend off the ants coming into the appartment (not many, but I guess thanks to our timely intervention). No big deal, but I would expect that this is not something I will have to solve. We only got one set of keys with a card that turned the electicity on, so when we left we could not schedule the AC to cool the rooms, so we often returned to a bit too hot environment. I didn't bother asking for the second pair of keys, so not sure if that would solve the problem.

The first day was spoilt by the lady on reception (short bob hairstyle) we checked in after 3pm and was told to sit down at the bar and we would be shown to our room. I had baby with me and waited over 2 hours in the heat. We did go back and ask twice. In the end we had to ask bar staff to please help and take us to our room as the receptionist had disappeared. We also found the receptionist to be quite rude on check in and throughout the holiday which is a shame as there are some really lovely and friendly staff. Also if you request a ground floor it cannot be guaranteed and there is no lift.

It was very modern and clean. The cleaners did a fantastic job our room was cleaned extremely well. The beds were extremely comfortable and I had a very good sleep each night. The kids pool was good for the kids and actually relaxing to sit by. Good views of the mountains. The area was okay, not in the centre of Georgioupolis but a 10 min walk - fine for me but those in our group who struggled to walk had to get a taxi to the centre each day/night. Some of the staff were lovely (a man behind reception who checked us out and gave us a lift home once in the buggy and the cleaners especially).

We travelled as a large group. When we arrived we checked in and we were all sat around waiting to be shown our rooms for two hours. I’m not sure why we weren’t given the key and then explained where our rooms were but the woman insisted on showing us the rooms which took two hours! She was also rude at times. Another issue I found was that we mostly got one bedroom apartments which were on the opposite side of the road - big rooms with full fridges and a microwave etc. we also purchased one superior room which was smaller and no microwave, smaller fridge etc but one of the apartments (which we paid more for) appeared to be just a superior room with a sofa bed! I’m not sure how it can be the same price for a smaller space and less facilities… I will also mention the bar man was very full on, and did ‘accidentally’ give us a higher price on the bill at one point.

The breakfasts, the facilities and staff were great. All staff very helpful and approachable. The cleanliness was fabulous, and cleaning staff very friendly. Some names who we thought gave the extra were Angel, Evita, Katherine and her mum (can't remember her name), she was lovely. We have been there 5 times now, and still enjoy going there. Ps...Nice that both Marcos and Yanni take time to speak with you.

More parking places is our only complaint.
