Ippokampos Beachfront

Excellent breakfast, good location near the beach. Some apartments 1/2 under ground which is a bit strange for a beach resort. Good wi-fi.

Ippokampos is in a great location with the beach right across the street. The view is amazing! It is easily walkable to the marina and the main part of Naxos Town. It is also walkable from the ferry port, perhaps a 15 minute walk or so. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at Ippokampos was great. We had to miss one night (which was non-refundable because of our booking through Hotels.com) but they offered to level up our room to make up for it. The front desk was lovely and accommodating for any questions we had, including getting us a rental car. The space was spacious, with its own balcony, and the breakfast every morning was fantastic. Great location, too.

Good stay but Seaview room not really Seaview unless you leave door open. No window. Nice balcony with views though. Need a superior room for views.

Have stayed at this hotel before and did so again, because of its location and excellent staff. The hotel is right on the best beach in Naxos town (and possibly the whole of the Island) although there are numerous great beaches on Naxos. The town centre and harbour is a few minutes walk away, with all of the restaurants, bars and cafes that you would ever need. The town also has a wonderful complex of little streets set below the main fortification of the town, with a myriad collection of shops to enjoy and even more tavernas!. Naxos has a good ferry service so we were able to visit both Mykanos and Paros without difficulty during our stay and the islands are different, even though within a hour of each other by fast ferries. We hired a car for only one day (we have gone round the island on our last visit) and revisited some wonderful deserted beaches and lovely small seaside villages. The harbour comes arrive after darkness, with the main road being pedestrianised for the evening and we spent most evenings, after eating, in one of the cocktail bars on the front, just watching the world (well - Naxos town) go by. Naxos does not have an international airport and as a result, retains its own identity without being swamped by the tourist industry. It's a charming and lovely island, one which we are sure to visit again soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and a great stay at this hotel. Couldn't fault a thing and in terms of location - spot on !

Maria in the reception super friendly, everyone at the restaurant always working hard and with a big smile on their faces! So friendly, clean and very good food. We love our room always clean and neat! We are looking to come back again, thank everyone to make our stay a dream come true

Amazing location and Service. Beachfront property with great view .

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. Beach was excellent, you could walk out at least 150 meters, Sandy bottom all the way. Staff very helpful, efficient and hard working. Our room was cleaned every day. Very good breakfasts served right beside the beach. Good location, can easily walk to any place in town. Taxi 10 Euros from ferry port to hotel. If you do not have much luggage you can walk from ferry to hotel in 17 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
