Coconut Creek Farm & Home Stay

Room was clean bed was hard as a rock. Getting any kind of help from the staff was impossible and they say the have food but you need to order three hours in advance. We moved after one night.

Such a wonderful and homely feeling...beautiful house and surrounding garden! Loved the swing at the front...relaxing and reading! Everyone was really helpful and the food was delicious!

Mr Baba the owner was a very considerate host. There was a general strike throughout India & no traffic allowed on the roads for a couple of days. We travelled through the night & arrived at 5am and were shown to our room immediately. The room was quite small but perfectly acceptable. The air conditioning was good.The homestay is set in lovely grounds and there is a veranda with swing & seats which was very relaxing & peaceful. We stayed 3 nights & ate our evening meals there. The cook Lal was excellent & the food lovely & cheap. We went on their canoe on the lake & small canals which was really enjoyable & excellent value. Mr Babu can organise a houseboat but we decided against it as it was more than 2 hours before you are able to enter the canals at Alleppy.

This is one of the best home stays i have stayed in while travelling. The owner is cooperative and hospitable and the helper/caretaker is sweet and cooks delicious food. The room was neat and the bathroom was clean. The room had a TV with satellite connection. The only markdown is the location which is a little far from the main town but the place is right next to an auto stand so that has been taken care of
