We loved everything: breakfast and dinner served in a lovely dining room, the warm pool which could be used also when it was cold outside and helpfulness of the staff.

Great experience with the food, front desk staff and location

Mr. Fauzi, the general manager, was highly uncooperative and didn’t tend to our requests. His stubbornness and lack of willingness to make guest experience better made our great trip to langdale sour.

The location could not be more perfect. A gorgeous cottage right in the middle tea fields, you could not ask for a better way to experience the Nuwara Eliya/ Nanu Oya hill country. The staff were exceptional in theory professionalism and friendliness. The fppd was exquisite. And the view will be forever seared into my memory as what heaven might look like. If you manage to pull yourself away from the delights of the cottage, the Somerset Tea Factory tour was absolutely exceptional. My friend had already been on a tea factory tour and for me the trip was really perfunctory (when in Rome) but it was absolutely fascinating, I learned so much. I could not recommend it more. A top tea-er experience!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Langdale due to the sheer beauty of the views and the exceptional quality of service extended by their very friendly staff. The food was also incredible.

Breakfast and dinner set menu options were very limited. Also I think meal prices were expensive. I would prefer to eat in restaurants at city center. Breakfast meal size could be improved.

Beautiful hotel with well maintained rooms and premises. The hospitality and service standards were impeccable. The staff were friendly, thoughtful and attentive to all our needs and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. A huge thank you to Saif, Anoj, Kevin and Hussein.

A very special small hotel - beautifully furnished. The staff were amazing. The food was very good. The views of tea plantations were great. Nice to have the option to play 9 hole putting, badminton and tennis. The swimming pool was very nice but quite small. The sun lounger area was beautiful. Great that they provided driver accommodation.

We didn’t realise the hotel was about a 25 min drive into Nuwara Eliya.
