Iris Hotel

We stayed for 1 week and half board. Meals were very good. Even fulfilled a request for a Lasagne, which was delicious Staff very helpful and friendly

I can not rate Iris hotel enough! My sister and I came here for 3 nights. We were greeted by the hotel owner- Gianluca, who was just lovely. He gave us so much information about the island which was so helpful. We were given room 2, which had a sea view and balcony, where we could watch the sun set every night. The rooms were extremely clean, and were cleaned daily. The breakfast was great, basic but all fresh. The pool area, we popped to see but didn’t stay there, was also very clean. Every body here was just so friendly, we were greeted with a welcoming smile all the time. It’s about a 20 minute walk into Forio centre, which was great of an evening. The bus stop is just down the road, literally a 3 minute walk and the nearest beach and restaurants are a little further down. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come to stay again. This is a 5 star, 3 star hotel! Thanks for having us!

Great facilities, the AC was a life saver, lots of pastries in the morning, the owners were very helpful and friendly, the cleaning staff and the waiter were very friendly. Overall a 10/10 experience and would definitely come back

Everything! We were welcomed warmly by Gianluca, who really made our stay memorable. We ordered some drinks on the balcony to enjoy the sunset and he gave us such an overwhelming complimentary grazing spread! Our room was a great size for us as a couple, comfortable bed and the air conditioning was a dream. The bathroom was clean and came with great olive oil products to use. The hotel is up on a slight slope which boasts amazing sunsets views, especially from our room 1. There is also a large terrace which you can enjoy a drink from too. Aswell as a view, the hotel also has a pool, jacuzzi and a beautiful setting for an evening meal. It's about a leisurely 15mins walk to the centre of the beautiful Forio, and 25mins walk to the stunning Giardini la Mortella with places to stop for food and drinks. There is a bus stop right at the bottom of the road a 3mins walk from the hotel, going in both directions, so easy access to and from the port of Ischia, Forio and sant'Angelo. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we can't wait to go back for longer as the people on Ischia are so friendly, the food is really 👌 and we really loved this hotel! So again thanks to Gianluca for welcoming us to the island of Ischia!

Lovely, little hotel. Staff was absolutely brilliant, always extremely helpful and friendly. If you wish, you may have your dinners there (as well as a very good breakfast buffet). Food was delicious, and lots of it! Rabbit on Thursdays - be there... The hotel can also fix you up with massages and spa services. We had a room up on the top floor, next to the terrace. Both places had great views over the neighbourhood, and the beach 400 m away. We went to Chalet Nonna Carmela, and were very happy with that. You will see beautiful sunsets, either from the hotel, or maybe from one of the small restaurants along the beach. We tried L'Ancora, La Ruota and Mare Chiaia; all were good in their own way. Also went to Saturnino, which was great (albeit a tiny bit on the pricey side). Enclosing a drone shot of the hotel and an example of the sunsets you are likely to experience from your own balcony. All in all: Ischia can be warmly recommended, for so many reasons - and Iris Hotel is just one of them.

Can't really complain. There is a street going past the hotel, and you will hear some motoring. But nothing really disturbing, more like the odd Vespa or car. Stay on the side when you are walking to the beach, though; the streets are narrow.

Nice, quiet hotel with friendly staff and a small pool area which is perfect for relxing after a day's sightseeing. Rooms are clean and well decorated and include TVs and air conditioning. Good breakfast in the morning.

The Iris Hotel is a lovely small hotel about a 10min walk from the centre of Forio. I had a lovely large room with a small terrace looking out towards the ocean in the background. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic and quite large compared to others I had used throughout Europe. The grounds are well maintained and the pool was just perfect for lazing around and having a dip when it got too hot. The hotel itself if located about 500m from the main road but there is a bus stop right on that corner and if you take the ferry into Forio the hotel will collect you. I was very happy with my stay here - in fact wished I'd stayed longer.

Una vera sorpresa ! dimensione "famigliare" con poche camere,ampie,molto curate, pulite e silenziose (la tv potrebbe essere più grande); bagni nuovi, docce ampie. Personale cordiale, preciso e professionale. Colazione discreta, anche se una "sfogliatella" fresca ...! Eravamo in mezza pensione e la cucina, gestita dal proprietario, offre sempre un menù di pesce ed uno di carne. Il giardino, sebbene piccolo, è molto curato, con molti fiori e piante. I proprietari sono simpaticissimi e gentilissimi , sempre pronti ad esaudire ogni richiesta. Posizione lontano dal traffico ma a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e a 100 mt dalla fermata autobus; dalle camere si gode una bella vista sul mare. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
