"A surprisingly good hotel and restaurant. "

We were surprised by the quality of this hotel and its value for money. On arrival we drove straight into its secure underground car park with direct access to the reception area above. Checkin was very efficient and friendly, offered in French and fluent English. Service throughout was very good, our room spacious, quiet, comfortable and well-designed with an excellent walk-in shower. The restaurant was equally good with a clear menu (in French only, surprisingly, but help on hand) very attentive waiting staff, reasonable range of choices including an inexpensive, fixed-price daily menu and nice choice of wines. Breakfast was the best we have experienced for some time in a mid-price hotel: hot and cold options well made and well presented. Overall, highly recommended, especially as it is just a few minutes from the motorway. The quality of this hotel more than compensates for its rather disappointing surroundings but for a stopover it is hard to beat.

Accueil compliqué ... personnel charmant. Mais j avais demandé deux mois plus tout une chambre calme. Le commentaire n avait pas été pris en considération. Donc il a fallu un peu de temps pour y arriver. Au final une fois installé dans la chambre 402, il a fallu changer car le volet électrique ne fonctionnait pas. On m a donné la chambre 319 dans laquelle il n y avait pas de volet électrique. Donc au final quel intérêt de replier les bagages pour changer de chambre ? J en ai déduit une mauvaise connaissance des installations par les personnels. Mais personnels charmants néanmoins. Un ascenseur en dysfonctionnement de lecture de carte depuis des années. Petit déjeuner très bien. Et les chambres que j ai eues sont très calmes. L hôtel reste de très bon cachet.

"One to be avoided."

At Mercure we expect a certain level equivalent to a 4* hotel. This one fell well below that - small room, uncomfortable basic furniture, no fridge, no tea/ coffee making equipment, no luggage holder etc. Very much Formule Un standard with shower room. Disappointing stay.

dommage que la climatisation soit si bruyante, manquent également des descentes de lit ce serait plus confortable. a revoir également le ménage (rideaux et bouche aération clim) chaleur insuffisante dans la chambre par ce temps froid. sinon la restauration est excellente, et le service tant au restaurant qu'au petit déjeuner est parfait.

Great hotel, looks new with tasteful amenities and excellent service. The food, from breakfast to lunch ‘snacks’ is worth stopping by even if you don’t stay at the hotel. What a nice crew and unbeatable food quality for the price. This hotel made me rethink the image I had of the Mercure brand. Superb experience
