£180 quid for no WiFi pass and hour, and it's in the middle of nowhere, so we should have free unlimited. It was very expensive for out of date out fashion place. Pictures are not accurate of the place

On arrival my wife and I were warmly welcomed by the landlord and his wife; offered tea and cakes on the house, we took them gratefully, taking time to get to know one another, to state our likes and dislikes, which the landlord took onboard. Matching the 17th Century listed main building in its ambience, our cottage was part of a converted barn. It had modernized facilities, all functioning well. The rooms were spotlessly clean and inviting, everything needed, such as linen and towels, was provided, except personal toiletry products. We had taken our own. Though we were not on a self-catering holiday, our cottage contained all the facilities required as if one was at one's own home. The very rural location and farmhouse like surrounds (without the smell of animals) were superb, very tranquil, allowing us an undisturbed sleep, to be woken up in the morning by wood pigeons cooing and other birds twittering. Morning breakfast, cooked to a chosen order from a comprehensive menu, was sumptuous and delicious; actually they kept us going well into mid PM. The landlord's love for Norfolk and surrounding countryside was all too obvious by the collection of books that were kept in the dinning room. These could be browsed while eating the breakfast to get ideas on where to go exploring in the countryside. The landlord was very knowledgeable about his county that he shared with us, where and how to get there, which roads to avoid, and what to see, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The establishment has its own sprawling well maintained garden, where one could spend the day just relaxing, or go walking, if one did not wish to travel. This is the first time we had spent a holiday in this type of establishment. Until we got there, Strenneth at Fersfield was a chance selection, but at the end we were delighted by our choice.

We just managed with the wheelchair and overall our two day stay was good
