Good location for work, it’s was clean and tidy. Owners were friendly.

Room to small, didn’t think it was value for money.

Beautiful rural location. We were met by a friendly little dog and a lovely lady. We were made very welcome. Our room was small but adequate. It was tastefully decorated with a lovely view of the gardens at the back. We could see chickens and canaries. It was peaceful and comfortable. The breakfast was well presented and delicious, 10/10. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was an addition cost on an expensive stay, and the breakfast menu stated homemade local jams and preserves when in fact it was general catering pack individual jams of no particular make. Wouldn't have been so bad if the jams had been a quality jam like Wilkins if they couldn't provide the homemade jams as the menu stated.

The location was fabulous, rooms and property in general was spotless. The breakfast was delicious, cooked and presented perfectly!

As I was working at Snetterton Race Circuit I had to be up early and drive to the track by 7am so I didn't spend much time, other than sleeping at the property. The setting was very quiet and peaceful which was just what I needed after a long day. The owner of the property was engaging and helpful offering advice on the best places to eat and the quickest routes to the circuit. The fact that the property is only 20mins drive to the circuit was a prime reason for choosing the property. The property has good WiFi connection but be aware that mobile connection in the area is patchy at best. This is a typical English countryside hotel, small, understated and furnished as such. Don't expect a trendy, high polished all chrome and mirrors accommodation, I would go elsewhere if that it what you want. My, I like a bit of a cozy country hotel, wooden furniture, warm decor and a friendly and interesting owner. There is a lovely pub, The Red Lion in Kenninghall, just a five minute drive from the property which serves great home cooked food. I had a delicious whitebait starter and for my mains I had a huge plate of gammon, two perfectly cooked eggs, garden peas and twice cooked chips that were fluffy on the inside with a lovely crunchy outside. The pub serves a wide selection of beers and spirits and is recommended in the CAMRA good beer guide.

I would have loved to have been able to sample the home cooked breakfast, but unfortunately I had to be at the circuit by 7am exch day which meant I had to leave early. My choice I know, but as a suggestion, perhaps a breakfast box could be provided for anyone having to leave early before breakfast is open. Maybe something as simple as a bacon and egg sandwich and a yoghurt pot. It was a little pricey for just a bed for the night, but for me and on this occasion the convenience of the location outweighed the higher price.
