"Superb"

The experience was five stars. Luxury in the bush. The staff were very accommodating to our needs. The drives were interesting, and the guide informative.

The reserve of 10 000ha is slightly small to carry a great amount of animals.

Staff were very friendly and Peter the ranger was exceptionally knowledgeable and funny. Very high level of service and accommodation and food we're excellent. Very highly recommended.

"Simply a wonderful, magical stay."

The food was fabulous, the staff couldn't do enough for you. The location, rooms, facilities were all amazing. Brian our ranger was brilliant with both his knowledge and is ability to find the more elusive animals.

"Most enjoyable"

Breakfasts were good, as were all the meals. We would have been happy with a brunch (breakfast) & then tea/coffee & biscuits/cake say at 3.00 pm before afternoon drive. Didn’t really need breakfast at 10.00 & lunch at 2.00 pm. Staff were very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere.

The Game Lodge prides itself in the comfort of the client, the food & service, however, the wines served were the bottom range. Bearing in mind the overall cost & the availability of good South African wines, I was very disappointed that I had to purchase a decent bottle of wine to have with dinner each night!

"The best experience of our lives set in the beautiful bush!"

It was our first experience of a game reserve and it didn’t disappoint! From start to finish it was just amazing in every way. Our Guide called Teacher was the absolute best!!!

It was just fabulous I have no complaints at all.

"Fabulous in every way. Best game reserve in the Eastern Cape."

Everything was simply fantastic into the smallest detail. The day was well organized with 2 daily drives, a fabulous brunch, lunch, and dinner, time to relax at the pool, lounge areas, or your fabulous room which was spacious and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the hills, the staff was very friendly and pampered us. The ranger on the drive was very knowledgeable. Every drive was a little different and we saw the Big Five, up close, and many other animals like zebra, giraffe, impala, hippo, hyena, warthog, …. It was a stay we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you!
