Lanta Riviera Beach Resort

The hotel itself was great, we were traveling with toddlers and this hotel is very well catered for kids. The room was super clean and the design was perfect, the restaurant space and all the places to relax were also well thought.

We traveled in Thailand for 4 weeks, and I must say this hotel I will remember because we met the most unfriendly staff (so unlike Thailand), mainly talking about the restaurant team, they seemed perhaps overwhelmed (?) to me that perhaps triggered them not coming across friendly, forgetting things maybe something to look at at in general the hotel is fantastic!

Friendly front desk staff, good breakfast, amazing beach access while still being quite close to your kids playing at the pool. Great for families with young or younger children.

Prices were a bit steep compared to places close by.

The facilities, staff, breakfast and kids corner! (Although I have no toddlers anymore, they pay a lot of attention to the kids)

The beanbags on the beach…. when these break, all these small pellets stay on the beach and eventually in the sea. Causing a lot of pollution. I would no longer allow them on the beach to prevent this.

Loved this property, has the remote island feel but a short walk down the beach are plenty of restaurant options. The pool and slide and play area was really great for the kids. Plenty of options for breakfast.

This is a great hotel for families so it was perfect for me. However if you're travelling without kids you might prefer a different spot as it is quite chaotic.

Top locatie aan het strand. Zwembad met zout water er bij, met een wat dieper en een ondiep stuk. Kleine glijbaan was fijn voor de kids. Handdoekenservice heel fijn. De speelhoek was ook fantastisch voor de kids. Het ontbijt was geweldig. Meerdere restaurantjes en supermarktje op loopafstand. Massage op het strand heerlijk. Wij hadden hier zeker langer kunnen blijven dan de 3 nachten die we geboekt hadden.

Een paar kleine verbeterpuntjes: In de kamer fijne matrassen, maar heel grote scherpe hoeken, een zelfs met splinters. Niet super handig op een familiekamer. Onze jongste is een brokkenpiloot en viel hier tegenaan met als gevolg een flinke bloedneus. Afvoer in de douche liep niet weg. Grote glijbaan kraakt, trap was ook wat gammel. Kapotte scherpe rand in het zwembad. 1 Zitzak op het strand was kapot, waardoor alle plastic balletjes zich konden verspreiden. Allemaal geen zaken die echt een probleem zijn, maar dit soort dingetjes oplossen zou het echt top maken.

L’emplacement sur la plage avec une très jolie et agréable terrasse, les jolies chambres, le soin apporté par le personnel à se rendre utile, disponible pour rendre votre séjour agréable , leur sympathie. Le fabuleux petit déjeuner: copieux, varié et excellent dans un cadre exceptionnel. Tout est facilité sur place, l’organisation des excursions, la location de scooter, le recours à un taxi ci besoin.

Plus de vis a vis des bungalow que je ne l’avais imaginé, la piscine est relativement petite et très occupée, or, à marée basse impossible de se baigner sur la plage, la piscine est la seule option de rafraîchissement. Besoin d’une location de scooter ou d’un taxi pour se rendre sur les lieux d’intérêt de l’île.
