Friendly and helpful receptionist. Large clean room . Plenty of free parking . Convenient location for town . Nice pub in basement

Had to use car to reach museum and visitor centre as over 1 mile away . No breakfast on site but good diner close by . No vending machine inside .

Beautiful historic building, comfortable large room with great bed, shower and AC. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Parking on site was convenient and free. Just a few mins walk from town. Faultless!

"Beautiful hotel but kept awake by a loud ventilator system."

Beautiful, almost museum like building with spacious rooms, right on the edge of town.

No A/C on a hot day isn’t great and the open windows didn’t do the trick. Somehow there was a ventilator going we couldn’t shut down and was very loud.
