Le Saint Erasme, Hotel Eco Friendly

Stayed for two nights. Booked the day before arrival and found a nice room with partial sea view. Great pool and deck area, sun all afternoon. Yards away from a nice hiking trail along the coast. Ample parking available. Did not try the breakfast.

Nice hotel close to the beach.. Has a lovely pool.. Clean and tidy.. Nice Scenic view from balcony..

Reception staff gave excellent information about city and greatly assisted our subsequent hotel booking - another excellent hotel.

unfirtunate start as no cabs available from the station but managed to drag the luggage to the hotel. a little out of town for restaurants but otherwise good in all respects

We booked a comfort double room, it was quite small, we had expected it to be a little larger. The view from the balcony was beautiful looking out to sea. Breakfast is continental, you can have an egg to boil yourself, could do with having more choice. Breakfast is eaten on the terrace above the swimming pool, and overlooking the sea, a lovely setting. The hotel is quiet and relaxing.

It was our fourth stay at this particular hotel and, as always, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The best part is the hotel's location, overlooking the sea and headland with a lighthouse and it is wonderful to sit on the terrace enjoying breakfast in the morning.We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Calvi.

Great hotel with location that is walking distance to town and marina.

We had Room 306 which was light and airy, spacious, clean with a balcony and great sea view. There's a safe in the room but no fridge. However, the water is safe to drink so no need to buy it. The shower is excellent and easy to use and there is new soap/shower gel provided daily. Staff were patient and helpful. They spoke English, gave advice on restaurants and booked a taxi for us. Lovely terrace for breakfast. Free towels from reception for the pool but take your own towel for the beach. Standard of cleaning is excellent with towels changed daily if you wish. It's about 20 mins walk to town on a well lit road alongside the sea so you get a beautiful view at the same same. Some websites indicate it is nearer to town than it is. If you don't want an uphill walk go for the Hotel St Christophe,the Chrispher Colomb or the Sole Mar close to the Citadel. There are many others in the centre too. Restaurants we liked were Ufanale-their 3 course evening meal was very good and it is close to the hotel, and La Marine in town. Many places do breakfasts too if you want a change from the hotel. From the hotel it's about half an hour walk thro town to beach. Break the journey with a visit to the boulangerie cafe in town. Beware though that to hire 2 sunbeds for the day it is approx 20 euros -about 17 quid. If you go after 2pm the price goes down a little. Other prices: cocktail plus a pint of beer(17euros), price of an average meal is about 20 euros.

This is a nice basic three star hotel, with great views of the sea, a nice pool, and comfortable walking distance from Calvi.
