Hacienda Pinilla Vacation Rentals

This place was excellent. Especially for families. Privacy, beautiful area. Everything about location was great. Great beach access. You definitely need a car though to stay in hacienda Panilla.

The natural attractions nearby the property are beautiful and relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice and comfortable villa. Very well located in Hacienda Pinilla, with 4 + beaches within 5 minutes drive, walking or biking. Hotel service not so good. For this kind of luxury villa, with the kind of money you pay, you don't expect anybody from the staff arguing for the quantity of soaps that you need on a 4 bathrooms villa with 8 people in. But the villa was nice and area extraordinary.

This is a 2500 sq. Ft. 2 story villa. It has 3 bedrooms with private baths, living room on main and the second floor, there is a big patio on the main with a BBQ and balcony on the second. It is about 50 feet from the pool. It is very well maintained with 2 hours of cleaning per day. The area is extremely quiet with some great beaches close by. You will need a car as there is not much within walking distance other than the JW Mariott. There is an executive rentals office where you can book excursions (thanks Laura) that will pick you up and drop you off but if you want to be able to come and go, a car is essential. We cooked in the villa a lot and had to go to Tamarindo which is about 15 minutes away for groceries. There was basically enough in cooking utensils, plates and cutlery to get by but it was a bit sparse but you can manage. Best advice is to spend some time in advance of your trip to get the lay of the land and how it all works so you can plan in advance. Great family time. nice and relaxing. Amazingly, on the property is access to Playa Langosta which is maybe 10 minutes away. It is about 3 plus miles long, absolutely gorgeous and absolutely empty. It was our best find,

Was a wonderful place to stay. Would recommend having a car. Explore all the beaches including the Club house beach and pool.

This is a nice villa in Hacienda Pinilla. You have access to both the clubhouse and the JW Marriot. But, you will have to pay a fee at both. At the club house it is $10 per person to enter. when you buy any food, the $10 goes toward the purchase. As far as the villa, it's extremely nice and high-end. The only issue with ours was the upstairs AC wasn't working very well. The thermostat was set on 70 and the temperature would go up as high as 76. Every room has ceiling fans so it wasn't really that bad. We reported the issue and nothing was really done about it. Housekeeping came at random times. The first morning they can around 9 am. Then, they would come at around 3 pm. They don't know a lot of English.

Very beautiful villa and close to a lot of beaches ... It was great !
