Davanam Sarovar Portico Suites Bengaluru

I read a lot of the reviews on Expedia and decided to give it a chance. I was disappointed from the start. The room was not clean, and the bathroom was poor. There was a smell in the hallway and moldy smell in the room. The breakfast staff was pleasant and food was delicious but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel in the future and would recommend staying elsewhere.

Rooms are large and kept clean, but all rooms decor very old, tired and need renovating. Restaurant very good

Staff were quite friendly and made us feel comfortable. It’s an old property and some of the rooms and the swimming pool need to be renovated. That said we enjoyed out stay. The breakfast which is included was quite nice.

The rooms were quiet large. First night we got upgraded to a larger apartment but it was facing the main road. The windows are not noise isolated so that we only got 3 hours of sleep the first night. We told the staff and we got a new room on the opposite side which was a lot calmer. The rooms and the hotel are quiet outdated and not that clean. Probably was a nice place 10 years ago but would need a renovation especially for the high price.

I expected more, this was just average for the prize. TV didn’t work, room smelled like kerosene. Staff wasn’t able to fix the TV. Studio-Suite Apartment with Kitchen was great!

Rooms are not well maintained. Showers are very bad.

In general I enjoyed staying there. very friendly and helpful staff. The buffets are excellent
