Room decor and furniture were at best on the level of a good 3 star hotel… maybe an average 4 star but by no means deserves to have 5 stars and be part of the Leading Hotels brand. It’s simply deceptive. It was clear that the hotel management isn’t bothered in upgrading the rooms and investing in the new furniture. Additionally staff are absolutely not on the level of 5 star hotel - they were often irritated, forgetting parts of the order, getting in the way during breakfast etc. The staff unfortunately are more like local seasonal part time workers rather than professionally trained 5 star hotel staff. For sure not a good value for money. The only good thing about this hotel is its location and access to a truly stunning (public) beach

Menzione d’onore solo al food

Le camere sono molto vecchie e poco accoglienti, con arredi modesti - non in linea con il prezzo richiesto per il pernottamento. In bagno la ventola faceva moltissimo rumore.

We stayed here for our honeymoon for three nights and it was incredible. First, the staff was so kind and attentive the whole stay. Food was top notch, the breakfast (with their amazing pastries) and dinner is a must! The amenities are so nice - the pool, access to the beach - everything. You have to go to their beach - it was one of the nicest ones we saw and it is also super close to Tavolara if you want to do an excursion in the nearby towns. We has a super beautiful room as well with our own private patio.

Nothing.

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were very attentive and provided excellent customer service and couldn’t do enough for you- from those working in restaurant, pool bar, concierge and room service. Rooms cleaned twice a day. Close to Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi beaches. Free shuttle from hotel (5mins - not suitable to walk). Breakfast (cost included) had great choice, from cooked options to fresh al fruit, salads, cakes and pastries, breads, meats and drinks. Drinks - wines €50 upwards (bottle), €11 beers (bottle) and €20 cocktails. Onsite spa (extra) and gym (free), we didn’t use so can’t comment on value for money. Transfer time from airport - 30mins. We booked a meal at the Mirto restaurant - it was nice but not a stand out (we love our food) even though my wife loved her dessert. We had similar quality three corse meal in San Teodoro town for half the price. Top tip - make sure you hire a car.

Unfortunately the Michelin star onsite restaurant (Gusto by Sadler) was not open during our stay (opens June) and we were not told in advance. It was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Unable to walk to beach or to local shops/restaurants (which would have been our preference but we knew in advance). Taxi’s in Sardinia very expensive - €90-100 airport transfer (each way). €50 cost into San Teodoro (each way). Unable to walk to beach from hotel due to lagoon and padel boat option was not available

La struttura è bellissima e ci sono tornato molte volte per la posizione e i servizi. Lo staff storico è fantastico e molto preparato ed è un elemento che mi ha invitato a tornare dato che sono persone gentili e di supporto

Lo staff nuovo è evidente sia stato assunto troppo vicino all’apertura e risulta impreparato al punto che mi è stato detto che potevo utilizzare il pedalò per scendere in spiaggia e non era vero. Non avere il pontile che porta alla spiaggia elimina una parte importante di questo posto e costringe ad organizzarsi per scendere e salire dalla spiaggia con la navetta….che riuna grande scomodità. A mio avviso fosse stato un tre stelle poteva starci l’impreparazione e la mancanza di servizio, per un cinque stelle invece non va bene e fa calare la percezione del prezzo ad almeno la metà.

Unser Aufenthalt im Baglioni Resort Sardinia war insgesamt schön, aber mit gemischten Eindrücken. Der dazugehörige Strand ist wirklich traumhaft – das Wasser ist glasklar und wunderschön, fast schon karibisch. Auch das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls gut – nur etwa 25 Minuten Autofahrt vom Flughafen entfernt. Das Pool-Areal ist schön angelegt und lädt grundsätzlich zum Entspannen ein.

Etwas enttäuschend war allerdings, dass das Wasser im Pool eiskalt war – fast niemand hat darin gebadet, schade, dass es nichts Beheiztes gibt. Zum Strand läuft man einige Minuten, was grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre, aber dort gibt es weder Toiletten, noch Duschen oder Service. Man muss also alles, was man braucht (z.B. Wasser), selbst mittragen – und vor allem mit zwei Kindern sind das schnell mal viele Sachen. Der Kinderclub war für uns leider gar nicht einladend – ein dunkler Raum mit altem Spielzeug, was so gar nicht dem 5-Sterne-Standard entspricht. Auch unser Zimmer (2-Bett-Zimmer) war extrem klein – Kinderwagen und Koffer mussten wir im Garten deponieren, da kein Platz war. Der ganze Anlage wirkt nicht 5-Sterne-würdig. Das Hauptrestaurant am Abend war wenig einladend, sobald die Glasfront geschlossen wird. Das Ambiente wirkt dann etwas kühl. Dafür war das Essen, sowohl tagsüber als auch abends, wirklich hervorragend – geschmacklich top und qualitativ ausgezeichnet.
