"Bates Hotel"

Old - roaches - locked down like it's a prison. Has elevators but good luck getting to them. I'm simi-handicapped - it was awful. I didn't expect much and that's exactly what I got.

"Great staff"

When we first arrived we were put in a horrible room with roaches and the door kicked in. The bathroom was disgusting and we did not feel safe at all. The next morning we requested another room and it was way better overall. It was more clean and the bathroom was clean. The only concern we had for the rest of the stay was there was very , and I mean very low water pressure. The staff are very nice here , so no complaints on the service. There was plenty of parking as well. Honestly if the water pressure was good in the new room I would have given 4 stars , because it was not a bad stay. Side story : My dogs literally got out of their kennel while we went to grab food for dinner. My oldest dog managed to open the door and got out into the parking lot ( Crazy , I know)! The staff called me to let me know about a wonderful couple who were helping to get them back in side. They were all so nice , when I was hysterical and embarrassed!

"Dog Show Stay"

Great stay and they were happy to accommodate our dogs!! Very quiet, well lit parking lot, everything worked great, and the bed was very comfortable!! I was a little worried with using a booking site because the motel doesn't book rooms through the motel office. We did have a glitch with one of the rooms, but it was straightened out by the time we got there. Well worth the money!!!

There was no work table and chair in the room. I had to push the coffee table and couch across the room to be next to the outlets for the work space. Was put on the third floor when the hotel had rooms on the first floor. At age 66, stairs at night can be rough.
