Bungalows Artemisa Gay Men Only

The bungalow was perfect in many many way. It was clean and spacious and I love the pool area and enjoyed my wonderful breakfast very much. Wi-Fi was fast. Location was perfect. I could walk to everywhere I want like bars and restaurants and beach and gym and supermarkets.

Lighting is not very good, ,but it’s ok. Only 2 single beds and no choice.

The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The whole place was kept very clean, tidy and well looked after. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The age range of the guests is older - perhaps an average age of about 60 - and consequently it is a calm and relaxed place to stay. The other guests were friendly, polite and undemanding. Good quality breakfast provided with eggs to order. Ten out of ten to the excellent staff.

A small point - noise from the nearby Axel Beach Hotel in the afternoons. Some people might be disappointed by the very basic kitchen facilities in the bungalows.

It is in a perfect location, close to the Yumbo and a 15-minute walk from the beach. Frank welcomed us warmly and made us the most delicious omelettes in the morning; he was an excellent host. The bungalows are spotless, and the kitchen is well-equipped.

Artemisa has many regular customers who have been visiting the resort for many years. Apparently, they do not mind that the matrasses are worn out, that there is no air-conditioning in the bedroom (no problem during appr. nov-dec-jan-feb though, there is a fan), and that there is a warm water boiler with limited capacity for showering. In addition, the breakfast is fairly straightforward: a small buffet with pre-packet croissants and cakes, orange juice, milk, yoghurt, and cheese spread — although they offer fresh fruit and bread, and a plate with fresh eggs, ham, serrano ham, and cheese of your choice as well. In summary, it is pretty basic (like 1990s/2000s) and overpriced.

Great location, very nice with sunbeds for each bungalow, excellent hosts.

The bed was very firm, too firm for me. It would've been great with a larger selection of drinks from the bar.

All. The location, the room, the gardens and pool, the breakfast and staff! I think some of the complaints on here are "fehl am Platz". Been many times to Playa del Ingles and definitely stay here again next time!
