Location and comfort

Both days we got stuff we didn't order, my coffee was not warm. And the cooking and selection could have been better.

We are pensions and got sent to our room without any instructions. Air conditioning, we couldn't work the controls so the room stayed cool, curtains wouldn't close and it wasn't until day two that we realised there was controls to close them, the TV took a long time to turn on and work the controls and there wasn't a great selection as they wanted to be paid for netflex.

Service in the restaurant was very poor at dinner. We waited over an hour for our main course. When it came there wasn’t much on the plates and we ended up getting side dishes to fill up. The restaurant wasn’t busy so there was no excuse for such a long wait. The food was mediocre. And breakfast wasn’t great.

This was our 1st time here and it won't be our last everything about our stay was exceptional...the staff were very helpful and accommodating the food in both restaurants was 10/10 and the hotel and scenery was 5 star and we would highly recommend this if relaxation and being at peace with yourself is your thing

Very impressive upon arrival. An abundance of old world charm and luxury with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful location over the lake for breakfast.

Food was disappointing. Dinner in the cellar bar was quite plain and needed seasoning. Couldn’t order cocktails there either and had to go upstairs to a different bar. Breakfast looked impressive but the ham Benedict had a funny taste and smell which put me off. The fruit salad was nice until I bit into a sour piece of fruit.
