Az ételek bőségesek voltak és nagy volt a választék.

A "pipere holmik" 3 pici szappant foglalt magába, semmi egyebet. A wc papírért szinte minden nap könyörögni kellett. Ugyan volt terasz, de a ruhák szárítása gondot okozott. Két napig kellett könyörögni a recepción, h hozzanak szárítókötelet.

You get what you pay for. It might be inexpensive, but the quality is only reasonably compromised. This hotel - like many of the hotels in Sunny Beach close to the seafront - was once a "holiday center" ("pochiven dom") for the working classes in the communist Bulgaria before 1990. It means simple architecture, cheap construction materials, limited spaces, low ceilings, poor soundproofing, etc. All these hotels are modernized by now with more or less success. The Pliska Hotel is a positive example. While the rooms are relatively small and the furniture is basic, the overall impression is fine, especially if you spend most of your day out on the beaches or at the bars at night. The location is just great, in the middle of the fun, and close to the beach, yet in a quiet corner. A great feature that (paid) parking is available. The pre-season price/quality ratio was superb.

Breakfast is great on the first morning, less great after the second. Lower shelf hypermarket stuff all over the breakfast table. Some of the rooms are on the 4th floor, so some stair climbing is inevitable. Room is small but acceptable, furniture is basic, bathroom is old Bulgarian style (no shower cabin).
